Sat at the bar and Zac quickly took our drink order. Started with the oysters and seafood chowder; both tasty. The halibut fish special was ok; not worth the $36 price tag. And the kale Caesar salad was severely overdressed. Would go back for happy hour. Bend has plenty of better options in this price category.

Had dinner at the bar and Cody took great care of us! His drinks were tasty and everything we tried on the menu was fresh and delicious! My partner and I will definitely be coming

Went here for our anniversary dinner. Absolutely loved it and will definitely go back. Service was great. The chowder was delicious! Honestly might’ve been the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Not to take away anything from the delicious sauce but they were the only fish and chips I’ve had that were just as good without a sauce.

The food was delish. The oysters, fish and chips, scallops, and ahi tostada were all excellent. Our server Bradon was great. Will definitely be back!

I am surprised about all the excellent reviews here. The salad was about 98% arugula with several tiny pear slices and a few hazelnuts. The picture of the same salad on their website looked much better. The entrees were alright but nothing special. Our dessert was a brownie that had apparently been previously frozen. Overall, the food was mediocre and forgettable. The service was alright and the atmosphere was good. I had higher expectations for this restaurant chain. Disappointing, but maybe I just went on a bad night. Hopefully they will improve the food quality in the future.

Our entire dining experience was incredible. The fish and chips were some of the best I’ve ever had in my life, and that’s saying a lot. The tuna poke appetizer was beautiful and delicious. The service was fantastic - attentive and helpful. We will definitely be coming back!

Excellent restaurant and Happy hour. People are friendly and attentive. Poke tostada is meaty.

Positive aspects: The oysters were exceptional, the fish and chips surpassed all previous experiences, the burger was excellent, and the cheesecake was delightful. Areas for improvement: The variety of drinks available at the bar was limited, and the way the drinks were made could be enhanced.

Took a long time for server to come to table, rest. 50% full. Couldn't see any reason we weren't greeted immediately. 8 - 10 minutes? Some dishes were really good (Cod special, Cioppino), others very average (mezze plate, pear salad).

Service was quite slow in spite of it not being crowded. Seems like they are understaffed. I got the clam chowder as a side and it was “unique” very thick and cheesy (?) with clams few and far between. Not worth the rather high prices

Chowder amazing! Not comfortable seating. Tables close together. Loud ambiance. When a guest doesn't like an item, you remove, replace, and take it off the check. This didn't happen. We'd like to try appetizers at the bar next time.

This was our 4th time to H&P and each visit has been excellent! The food never disappoints, the wine pours are adequate and we always have great service. We love meeting people there for happy hour and dinner and will continue to recommend it to friends and family visiting Bend. My only suggestion....I wish you had a Hefeweizen, either on tap or in the bottle.

Sat for 25 minutes without being noticed. Asked the host if we could move tables (he said he'd check but then forgot to come back until I flagged him down again). The waitresses noticed us now that we were more in her sight and apologized for not seeing us before. The restaurant was full but only had one server, maybe two. Host was unhelpful and honestly a bad representation of the restaurant and gave a poor first impression. Didn't smile, didn't say welcome in, acted like he'd rather be anywhere else. I think it's great that they're hiring young kids but at least train them well. Asked about wine, the waitress said she didn't know much about Chardonnays. Asked about the local fish and she said she didn't know much about it either (but said it tasted like Halibut). Incorrect items on the bill. Had to send it back to remove glasses of wine that weren't ours. Took 45 mins to get our order in. I rarely complain but for a $240 dinner for 3 people, it's worth noting. Has potential but the training is lacking as the experience was a big disappointment. Food was good but walked away not wanting to come back. It was a painful experience.

Food and service are excellent. The decor is nice. The room is very open and a bit noisy though, so it is not a place for an intimate dinner. We've been here twice and will return.
