An error was made ringing up my bill which cause my total to be about 4x as much as it should have. A simple mistake, but instead of treating it as such I was accused by another bartender of being too broke to drink there… the owner also approached me headstrong about the matter before realizing they were indeed wrong.

I went here on New Years eve and ordered a drink and handed the bartender a $20 to cover it. A friend of mine was nearby ordering, and the bartender put our drinks on the same tab, even though I clearly told him separate checks. After the bartender tried giving me my cash back so he could charge my friend for my drink, I told him I needed to pay with cash and to please separate my bill. He reluctantly did, and after paying for a $14 drink, the bartender (who had long hair tied up and a beard) gave me my change and flipped me off with the middle finger right after. Very upsetting and despicable experience, all my friends and I were appauled and immediately left the establishment.

Easily one of the best bars in Bend, hands down! First off, you won't find a better Old Fashioned, anywhere, and they have so many variations. Second, they are a true whiskey bar and have a huge variety of whiskeys, including bourbon, rye, scotch, Irish, Japanese etc. And if whiskey isn't your liquor of choice, they have tequila, rum, and Vodka, and I have yet to be disappointed with their cocktails! Are you the DD? No worries, they have great Mocktails! On top of all that, add in some truly excellent food and even desserts! Seriously, there's a reason this place is always busy. Two words to describe Stihl: WORTH IT!

Great experience. This place has our favorite old fashioned in town, we compare all others to it. Despite the fact, we still love to try the new stuff too! It’s a bit spendy but manageable.

Stihl is a whiskey bar in the downtown Bend area that has dozens of whiskey options as well as other drinks and some food too. It's definitely more intimate and small than most other bars around but it's got character. Prices are on par with the qualities of the whiskey and the bartenders know their whiskey for sure. Don't hesitate to ask for recommendations because they will help you out. Would go here again, especially towards the end of the night.

Really great service and selection of everything. Also, I happened to leave my jacket by mistake and couldn’t stick around to pick it up the next day as I had to travel. The general manager found my business card in the pocket, called me and coordinated to get it back to me….super honest, kind and went out of his way to help me out. I’ll definitely be back.

We use to LOVE this place and went all the time and was always packed. We've been away for a year and was shocked last week going back and it was empty...then I looked at the prices and they have become stupidly expensive. They still have great cocktails, but so does many other bars blocks away which are 30%+ cheaper. Sad to say we won't be gone back....but now I understand why it was empty....

This place is awesome! The staff was incredibly attentive, and really pulled out all the stops for my boyfriend and I’s anniversary! They gave me my favorite special request, spicy tiramisu. Very thoughtful and unique! 10/10 recommend.
