We have gone to this place hundreds of times but I recently was diagnosed with celiac and about a year ago I had to stop going here because several different servers told me nothing there is safe for me. They can’t make anything special for me. They assured me they cannot guarantee my safety. The kitchen is too small. I probably shouldn’t eat there. I appreciated the honesty and we’ve been eating breakfast elsewhere. That said it is my husband‘s favorite breakfast place so we tried again yesterday calling ahead. They said there were many gluten-free options and they listed them. They said they could make things on a separate pan they could toast my bread in a separate place and I was safe to eat there. Quite a difference from the last time we asked about a year ago. They made my eggs Benedict with gluten-free bread and there is no wheat in the sauce and it was amazing. I wouldn’t say there are a ton of gluten-free options but there’s about five or six maybe 7 and that’s about what I can expect at most places. There is a long wait usually but they do make the wait comfortable with outside seating and heaters and little fireplaces and they make very good drinks! When you go here, you just know there’s a long wait and you plan for that ☺️ although when we went yesterday, there was zero wait we have waited 1 to 2 hours before.

I wish I could give this review zero stars instead of one star. Our experience started with an incredibly small parking lot which isn’t a huge problem but for a place that boasts “the best breakfast Bend” it’s a bit of a joke. We were then served a watered down strawberry lemonade and ordered burgers. The waitress told us “the cooks don’t trust the ground beef so we can substitute it for steak”. I’m not sure what that means. The proud Bloody Mary boasted only the toppings, not what was in the mix and I’ll admit, I was lured in by them. It was one of the most bland Bloody Marys I’ve ever had, reminiscent of Tito’s and spicy tomato juice. The side potato’s that came with my omelet had no seasoning or flavor while the rest of my party’s food came out lukewarm to cold. The bathrooms were unkept and smelled of urine. It was a bad time and we will not be returning. There are plenty of better tasting, cheaper breakfast options in Bend.

A wait that is worth it! The outside patio area with the fire pits is the perfect place to relax while you're waiting for your table. I ordered a bloody mary to sip on until our name was called. It also gave us a chance to chat with some great people! Once inside and seated it was nice not to be sitting at tables that are on top of each other. I ordered a Sante Fe Chicken sandwich with the house made chips. The sandwich was great, but I could have just ordered the chips! Yummy crispy well seasoned bits of goodness. My husband ordered the Strawberry Basil French Toast. He really enjoyed it and was very impressed that the fresh strawberries were sweet even though its February. We wondered if they have their own crop that they love on year round. Lol! We cant wait to go back and try the rest of the menu items.

I have many dietary restrictions that make eating out difficult. Communication through the waitress to the kitchen was seamless and I was able to enjoy an amazing breakfast. I don't live in Bend, but look forward to visiting and enjoying another meal!

I am always on the look out for a solid breakfast place. For whatever reason, breakfast seems to be where restaurants lack and dive into the mediocre. This place stands out. For one, the options are unique and creative, which can be a red flag for some. But if you are willing to be bold and have the chops to back it up I am all for it. This place followed thru. The Pacific crab Benedict was incredible! I highly recommend.

Every time my wife and I come to Bend we try and go here. The food is superb and the wait staff is so friendly and attentive. Their specialty, in our opinion, is Benedict. Highly recommend. It's a smaller establishment so if you don't want to wait long you'll need to come early. They open at 7. Not a lot of parking space either.

Really wanted to like this place, but fell short of expectations (based on Google reviews). Pancakes were meh, fake syrup (real maple syrup isn’t nearly that viscous, clearly had corn syrup in it), and the eggs were overcooked.

Food is delicious however parking and long wait can be challenging especially on weekends! But definitely worth the wait! As a bonus have an awesome hot sauce wall

Absolutely appalling service. Were told it’d be 10 minutes to get a table. Took 30 minutes to be seated. No one even acknowledged us or came up to take our order. The place is either understaffed or the employees literally don’t care. Either way it’s a bad look. All in all, wasted 45 minutes of our day, will go eat elsewhere. This was on Tuesday morning, not the busiest time. There were plenty of empty tables, also.
UPDATE: I see that the owner has responded. It's been a while since I wrote the review, but I believe that yes, we were enrolled in the check in and texting service. That didn't make any difference, really. The system was showing lower wait AND the staff verbally told us much lower wait. That's actually why we ended up waiting for as long as we did, because the system kept saying it was almost ready for us. We're not local. We were traveling through. This delay skewed our tight plans for the day pretty significantly. As mentioned in the original review, we managed the wait, but when we sat down, we were not approached by server. We waited probably another 5 or 10 minutes and left. Went to another cafe in town, where they sat us down immediately.
Also, I understand being busy. But as mentioned in the original review, there were PLENTY of empty tables. So that tells me the place is not staffed appropriately for the amount of business they get (or the staff is just that slow).

Excellent food and service! Would highly recommend you come here for brunch/lunch if visiting Bend. They were open till 2pm on weekends. The portions were laaarge!!! So wait for your food before getting more! Food was very good! Anything you get- you won’t be disappointed, you’ll be plenty satisfied! And, our food came out in 10-15mins. The best part of all— they have a bajillion delicious hot sauces that you can pick from, yourself! We will definitely come back here when we visit again!

Best brunch in town! I absolutely love the gals that run the show. Food is always on point. Bloody Marys to manmosas all tasty! If you’re looking for the best eggs Benedict you’ll ever have, this is your place! And such a variety. One thing i will note…. These servers busts their butts and I’ve witnessed a few times the owner being extremely rude and disrespectful to them. I hope that changes. I can’t rave enough about every other aspect!
