This used to be one of our favorite restaurants. They have now changed the menu, made it much more expensive for the food, wine prices are stupid silly, And even the mixed drinks were watered down And very poor. Not likely to return.
My only complaint about our experience was with regard to our table/seating. Our table was next to a large group, and our table was positioned fairly close to the other table, which resulted in having the server's backside fairly close to my face every time he served the larger table on that side. Hopefully the restaurant can come up with a different arrangement for those two tables. Otherwise we had a wonderful experience and the food was incredible.
It was a great experience. The food was really good. The service staff were attentive and welcoming. Our waitress took a long time to get us our check. I'm sure she was busy. We would definitely come back.
We (2 of us) shared a series of small plates in the bar & everything was outstanding, excellent plate presentation, very decent wine list, cozy atmosphere, pleasant service that was a bit delayed, but overall not a big deal. We had a great experience & plan to return!
Jackalope Grill is my favorite restaurant in band! I am never disappointed. The atmosphere is beautiful, the food is fantastic and inventive, and the noise level is quiet. I love it!
Always love visiting Jackalope. Reason - consistent quality in food menu and service is awesome. I'm a creature of habit and know what is real good!
When in Bend, Oregon, this restaurant should not be missed. The decor is stunning and the food amazing.
While I appreciate a table that has a lovely cloth on it, sitting in a plastic folding chair really detracts from the overall experience. Food quality and service where four stars. Ambience not so much. Decent job with the outdoor plantings, but I think I was looking at the back of a parking garage?
The food was great. The patio was lovely, except for the crazy 60 Hz buzz coming from somewhere.
First time eating here after walking past many times due to the odd name. The garden courtyard setting on a warm evening was quite a find and defintely worth a return visit. For starters, we had a pear salad - well presented if SLIGHTLY underdressed, scallops; well cooked with a nice sear and interesting flavorful sauce with them. Entrees Pork Chop, Pasta, Salmon and the Fillet Steak special. All excellent. I am always wary a pork chop would be overcooked and a little dry. Our server promised it would not be and she was right - very juicy, flavourful. All four of us shared a bourbon creme brulee - it was plenty! Well prepared, perfectly cooked with a nice crisp. though the bourbon flavor was hard to detect. Overall excellent value not overly priced and everything well cooked and on point with thoughtful presentation. We will definintly go back.

We dined outdoors in their patio. A large group came in but being outside made the noise level very nice and not loud. Food was brilliant. I had the duck and gnocchi (I would have preferred the duck breast instead of the duck leg, but they were out.) husband had salmon. We had scallops first course and pear salad second (shared) also delicious. We each had a glass of wine with diner. And final lovely touch was a complementary small bottle of champagne to celebrate our anniversary.
We had a fun dinning experience, our waitress; Rachel was great, fun and quality service! The kitchen however could use some help; Drink were excellent, Caesar salad was good but had almost no dressing on it ? The steak dinner? Was delishes but beef shoulder is not steak! And the asparagus vegetables was carrots? The desert; brownie with berry sauce and ice cream was dry as like day old and forgot the berry sauce?🤪🤪
This was our first time at Jackelope and it did not disappoint! Our server, Annabelle, was amazing, the food was fantastic (the pork chop and scallops were to die for!!) and the restaurant itself was a beautiful space. We loved it so much we decided to go back for a birthday in a couple weeks. If you're on the fence, GO!!
My husband and I had such a lovely first experience last night. There are a lot of nice restaurants in Bend but this stood out! The service was incredible and the food was delicious. Will be adding to our restaurant rotation.
We started with happy hour drinks and the green bean app in the lounge. We moved to the courtyard for dinner. The red pepper soup, salmon, duck, brownie and sorbet were all delicious. The ambience with lights, plants and fire were lovely and spaced diners out nicely. Our server was friendly and attentive.
