I love this bar and all the people who work there with my whole entire heart! I’m not changing my 5 star review for this but there is a bit of an issue. They’re now charging a $10 take out fee but you don’t know that until you order. It is not posted on the menu or anywhere in the establishment. I get you want people to dine in and drink there but some of us have other things to do. I would rather pay the what used to be $1.50 fee for to-go and leave a $10 tip so the workers can make some money. I’ll still go there of course but no more takeout. :|

I have always wanted to love this place. It could be the best dive bar in Bend. And when I say dive bar I mean solid comfort food, stiff drinks and slightly surly but accommodating service. But alas, it isn’t and never will be. It took me 6-7 times before I realized that not only do they not want my money or my presence but they don’t seem to want anyone else’s either. But today was my last time in that joint. And here’s why. Two dudes were steaming mad when we came in because they couldn’t get the attention of the server for 30 minutes and they were dudes so I didn’t really take it seriously and leave like I should have. I haven’t been in to Timbers in over a year for the aforementioned reasons and was hoping that things had changed but sadly those dudes nailed it. I spent $70 with tip and never at any point felt like I was wanted in that place. I went up to the bar for everything (table service is implied there), the food was incorrect and the server was never around. I am one of those customers that stacks my plates, waits patiently and also tips 20%, not that it matters, but damn. Hey Timbers, get it together yall because this ain’t it.

Hit and miss on food depending on who's cooking one day you will get the perfect plate the next day it's a sorry excuse for food. For the price it should be on point all the time. Makes a person not want to 50/50 their lunch time there

I literally live down the street and I'm there at least once a week and I always have a good time when I'm there if I'm by myself I'll start a conversation with whoever is next to me at the bar or when I do go with friends no one looks at you like wth you doing here like when you hit a bikers bar lol you know what Im trying to say 😁 and food is good idk but I like the onion rings 🤙😁
