We were kind of disappointed not to find more vegan options in Bend, but Toasty to the rescue! Everything we ate was delicious, but my favorite was the BBQ tempeh tacos with amazing tempeh, some kind of yummy cheesy sauce, and perfect soft corn tortillas. They're really onto something over there!
We swung in here for lunch on our way outta town. It was hard to narrow down what we wanted to try—lots of tasty sounding options to pick from! We ended up on some chips n queso (had an old school vegan vibe to the cheese dip, but in an updated and delicious way, don’t skip these!), the tempeh tacos, and the buffalo Chikn Crunchwrap. I’m not sure what they do to the tempeh, but it was some of the best I’ve had. The Crunchwrap was also really good, there were a lot of flavors...
Prior to arriving at the food truck, I was happy to see several customers enjoying food from the food truck. Upon arriving at the food truck, I liked the clean appearance of the food truck which had a sleet menu and colorful sign near the order window.
The employee was friendly and informative. When husband informed her of his severe nut allergy, she confirmed the severity of the allergy then told him that the only item on the containing nut is the cashew queso. I really appreciated...
