I was in a motorcycle accident in April and unfortunately lost my left leg and I’m currently stuck in a wheelchair.I was looking forward to my trip to Bend this August and visiting our family favorites. The restroom door is too small for a wheelchair, but instead of fixing it, they just shrug and lie about being “grandfathered in.” (Pro tip: that’s not real. The ADA doesn’t do loopholes for laziness.). My loss of dignity was glaring and I couldn’t wait to leave. The owners, Ben and Lyndsey Budavari, doubled down on the nonsense. When I called Ben, he argued, hung up on me, blocked my number, and told me to “take it up with the building owner.” Translation: I don’t care about customers, just your money. Imagine running a tacky roadside dump in 2025 and still not bothering to meet basic accessibility laws. Then imagine being smug about it when called out. That’s this place in a nutshell.

We came in for dinner tonight. We both had the Ribeye (best in town imo) and there was music in the bar which we were pleasantly surprised about. We had the same server that we’ve had for years, Cheri, and as usual she treated us like royalty. The table next to us were absolutely horrible to our server. They berated her and she tried to make it right. I am pretty sure I heard her buy their appetizers, which appeared to be completely ignored. We just wanted to make sure that we give her the praise that she deserves to give back the respect she so freely gives us every time we come in. We will always keep coming back as long as she is there. Who I should also recognize is Chef Roman! That ribeye hit the spot tonight, I’ve always been impressed at his professionalism. Best steak salad ever!! I opted out of blue cheese and our excellent waitress Kenzie offered shredded. The pepper crusted steak is cooked to your liking and mine was perfect. Generous toasted pumpkin seeds and a raspberry vinaigrette made a perfect combination. My husband rated his fillet mignon excellent which is rarely uttered about steak by him in a restaurant. He’d prefer his from the local butcher and grilled to his liking. I’m the same way. He ordered it rare, not my style, but I totally agreed, excellent. No fat, gristle or sinew. Kinzie was a treat. It’s a large place including the bar, but it filled up fast. And it’s primarily a local crowd. Can’t wait to go back.

Phenomenal service from Jansen! He was so nice, helpful ,knowledgeable and in great spirits. He was on top of it when it came to our drinks and food. He made this experience as good as the food! He was so patient with the people behind us who seemed to ask a bajillion questions Lol. Will be back again asap. Not to mention the steaks were awesome and so were the jalapeño poppers.

Tumalo Feed Company is about the atmosphere and the food. Authentic old west feel when you enter the restaurant. Rustic old building. Friendly staff take care of all the restaurants guests. Food comes out quickly and is flavorful. Decent size portions that have good flavor. Definitely worth stopping for the meal as well as the atmosphere of the old restaurant.
We were in Bend for a wedding and went here for dinner with family!! Everything here was fantastic - food, server, atmosphere, etc was great from start to finish!! If you live here this should be a regular stop!! If you're a visitor I highly recommend going here!! Wonderful evening 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Sat down and asked to be moved because a kid next to us was hacking up a lung, usually wouldn't care too much but father having surgery in a week. They moved us to a tiny bar table crammed into a corner next to trash can when larger 5 top table that we were denied sat empty the entire time we were there. Didn't get greeted for 20min after asking for server, it wasn't even very busy. No apology either for being ignored. Coffee was watered down and served like warm. $50 steak arrived as a piece of meat on a white plate (no garnish sauce, nothing-just a slab of meat) tasted good presentation was cafeteria level. Won't be back for a long time.
