We went to celebrate our anniversary a few days late. We were promptly greated and seated. The service was good. Present, but not overbearing. The food was excellent and we were able to take home enough for dinner the next night. My wife has been coming here for years, and while it's a newish owner, it's still the Tumalo Feed Co Steakhouse. We will be back.

We've lived in Central Oregon 26 years and have never been to Tumalo Feed Co. I'm actually not sure why. We love the buildings exterior and interior; very cowboy'esk. To start, I ordered an old fashion and my wife had a dirty martini. Both excellent! For an appetizer we ordered the fried calamari. The aioli they use is a little sweet for our taste, but a pinch of lemon softened it out. The calamari were solid. For an entree I ordered the 12oz rib eye (medium rare). It was cooked to the precise temp. On my steak I ordered two 'toppings', the mushrooms and a side of shrimp. The shrimp were great. The mushrooms came in a bowl on the side and were 'cooked' whole. Not my preference, but nonetheless, they were ok. For sides I ordered the stuff baked potato and dinner salad. Both exactly what you'd expect. My wife ordered the 12oz sirloin (medium rare). In the same fashion as mine, it was cooked perfectly. She had the same sides as I did. All in all, we had an awesome experience. The building does have a weathered feel but I think that's what makes it a legit cowboy experience. As well, the staff was kind, prompt and extremely helpful. Thank you for a wonderful date night Tumalo Feed Company!

Funky spot it tumalo for an "faux western" dining experience. Nothing about this restaurant is unique, special or even notable. Food was good. Drinks were ok. Steaks were tough. Fish was overcooked. Nothing was great or amazing. Honestly the entire experience was blah and not worth the $50 per person to eat there.

I’m hesitant to write a review because I don’t want to ruin the vibe. This place is my favorite restaurant in central Oregon for the staff, the vibes and the burgers.

The people who own this spot are super disrespectful, especially the husband towards women. Which is a shame to see from a grown man in today’s world. The food is okay at its best, steeply overpriced, and not worth your time. If you value the quality of your food and the morals of your host I’d suggest elsewhere.

Several years ago I loved this western steakhouse. Now. It's now a French steakhouse. How can anyone justify taking a perfectly pan seared rare slab of beef and drowned it in a sauce that belongs on an eggs Benedict. All I can say is: YUK!

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The steak was delicious and tender and has a unique country home atmosphere. I'm more of a modern type person but I can still appreciate the style. I wouldn't say the prices were unfair but they are on the high side. Our waitress was a delight and an absolute ninja at refilling my drink. Definitely the best steak I've had in these parts so far.

Dismayed by the extra charge! I have been to Tumalo Feed Company literally over 100 times and was there for their opening night back in 1965, the food has been great, the service exceptional, and a warm and friendly atmosphere. When meeting there just a week before Christmas with family the five of us enjoyed our meals and a smile or two from the staff. When I ordered that yummy rib eye steak I was asked what sides to choose. I immediately said the baked potato, like normal, and then I thought about the second side and my daughter suggested the cream spinach. Okay, sir, let's give it a try. So when the meal came there was a small bowl of beans and the potato. I told the waiter it was to be the creamed spinach and everyone chuckled. Okay said the waiter, no problem and hurried off to get the spinach. Upon receiving the Bill for $350.00 I glanced at the receipt and saw $3.50 for a side of creamed spinach. I said nothing but the more I think about it the more pissed off I get. Charged for the item which was part of the original order. They F_ _ _ ed up and can only wonder why they did this? Greed? It will be a long time if ever I will go back. Warning, if they mess up your order just suck it up and take it however they give it to you......... Show less Date of visit: December 2023

I'm not much for steakhouses. They almost always disappoint for the price you pay. That is not the case here. It's particularly true in that your entree comes with two sides. My filet was the best I've had out since I ate at Ruth's Chris over 20 years ago and the entire meal cost relatively a lot less. Mashed potatoes were delicious as was the salad. Service was top notch. Highly recommend.
