My daughter and I used to come here once a week before school and get ham and cheese croissants. My husband and I used to come here and order sandwiches to take to our favorite fishing hole. I used to stop by to get some special treats in the morning as a surprise for my family. No longer after today. I ordered a sandwich and they made a mistake. So I drove back over there (15 minutes) to have them remake my sandwich and the owner disagreed with me and stated that was what I ordered. I then reordered and the second sandwich also had mustard on it - only to be discovered once I was at home again. I had to throw the entire sandwich away because the honey mustard was soaked through the bread. Never again.

AMAZING food. If you want it though, line up outside the door before they open, they never have enough made

Excellent baked goods. If they had cold brew coffee, and a place to sit, I would be a regular customer! The pastries are wonderful.

Every single item at Village Baker is amazing. Their garden turkey sandwich is my favorite sandwich in town. You won’t regret anything that you buy here!

Super high quality bread and pastries. Particularly the butte loaf makes a very good sandwich.

we love the village bakery and the two onion sandwich. It’s a weekly event for us. Love that spread on it and it’s not a sloppy sandwich. People at the front desk have become more friendly, which is a nice plus and there is consistent as anything and QUICK on making the sandwiches. This is a gem. We love in the Bend area

Perfectly baked fresh pastries from the source. Flakey pain au chocolat, cinammony morning buns, berry & cream cheese danishes, and other delectable daily specials, plus a whole variety of bread loaves for sale. They make sandwiches and fresh coffee too. Oh, and an assortment of specialty loose teas. And more. Highly recommend stopping by for weekend treats for yourself and out of town guests.

Good food outweighs bad service only to a certain point. If you're going to embarrass your customers in front of others because no sign is posted that states where a line is then change your procedures. Never embarrass customers. They don't come back... And they write reviews.

Visiting from out of town and came across this gem. The bread is so delicious, I bought some to fly home with. And we ate sandwiches there before our trek home. Great find. Can't wait to come back to visit.
