Enjoyed the food, loved the taste of northern Thailand. Ordered Tom Kha, curry basil noodles and Koay tiew koa goa with sticky rice. Thoroughly enjoyed the noodles and the curry. Sticky rice portions are little light so order two of them.

This is undoubtedly one of the top-rated spots in Bend and a must-visit. The food feels authentically Thai, with vibrant, well-balanced flavors. The Som Tum Tod (fried papaya salad) is a standout—crispy, tangy, and perfectly sweet and sour, making it a must-try. The glass noodles (Sukiyaki) and Kao Sui were also excellent, full of flavor (We ordered spice level 3, which was just right for us). Service was outstanding, with our server Willis being exceptionally friendly and courteous.

Really disappointing for “the best Thai food in Bend” the crab rangoons had several rangoons with no filling at all, the pork appetizer had no flavor at all and every piece had bone cartilage in it that I had to spit out on the plate, the khao soi tasted nothing but coconut milk with a hint of curry ordered 4 stars for spice and barely tasted any spice at all just really disappointing for a $60 lunch

I dined at Wild Rose back in 2021 and was really looking forward to returning to Bend and enjoying a meal there again. Unfortunately, it seems the quality of the food has taken a significant downturn since my last visit. The dishes we ordered were overwhelmingly salty, to the point where I couldn’t manage more than a few bites.
I ordered the “Holy Eggplant” dish, which came out seconds after I ordered it, it had a few small, thin slivers of eggplant and the rest was ground pork—not what I was expecting based on past experiences ordering this dish at other Thai restaurants. It felt like a false advertising and not worth the $22.
It’s unclear what might be happening in the kitchen, but as someone who has cooked in numerous restaurants that specialize in Thai, Vietnamese, and Chinese cuisine for over 8 years, dishes should be consistently tasted before being sent out.
As for the service, it took a long time to get anyone’s attention, and we were left waiting for quite at the host stand before being acknowledged by one of the bussers. Once we were served, the experience felt disjointed, and it didn’t seem like there was focus on making the experience personable.
I bought a gift certificate for my son in May. In August they went to use it and were told that Wild Rose would not honor it as the restaurant had been sold and these new owners said they do not honor past gift certificates. What???? It was purchased 2 1/2 months ago. After my son protested someone came out and said he would need to contact the giver and make them prove they bought it. Luckily I was home that evening and after 30 minutes searching my bank records I found the receipt. The restaurant reluctantly and begrudging took it and acted like they were doing us a big favor. Obviously, I will never set foot in there again. There are lots of places to spend your money in Bend. Spend it somewhere with some honor and integrity.

Literally just AMAZING! Eat here and you will see why that sums it up . Most delicious Thai food in Bend !
Great quality, good prices. unique northern Thai menu. We had the Khao Soi Curry noodles at lunch. Wow, just so yummy! Also had the house curry. Great price and plenty of food, even with the smaller lunch portion.

My in-laws are from Chiang Mai and we eat a lot of northern Thai food. The food here was okay. The Gai Yang meat was dry and had a lot of sauce on it. More sugar than I expected in the green papaya salad, but it was delicious with the right amount of garlic and lime. The chicken wings were tasty and the street noodles had good flavor. Noodles were a little overcooked and falling apart. The atmosphere was good, but didn’t feel very Thai influenced. The service was excellent.

Worst customer service I have ever received in my life from a hostess. Unbelievable. Never going back & I’m telling everyone I know about my experience. Sad…

Had roast pork with egg and broccolini over rice, the roast pork was just average, the egg was mini size, broccolini was delicious though and 70% of the dish was rice, bit pricey IMO. Good service sitting at the bar.

Wild Rose isn't your standard-issue Thai restaurant. The fact there’s no Pad Thai on the menu is the first sign they’re doing something different, and very right.
The focus is on the regional food of Northern Thailand, which means less sweetness and a greater emphasis on fragrant herbs and complex, savory flavors. The intimate space feels genuinely plucked from a street in Chiang Mai, and the dishes arrive loaded with an impressive amount of fresh vegetables.
It’s an authentic and memorable experience. For anyone in Bend wanting to try a different side of Thai cuisine, Wild Rose is a must-visit.

I had a fabulous meal until the end. After our food was served, I had to ask the hostess to find someone to get me a second glass of wine, as our waitress hadn’t returned. The bartender brought it. Later as we finished our meal, paid our bill, and packed away the leftovers, we were chatting while I finished my wine and another in our party finished her beer. We were asked to vacate our table, as it was reserved for someone else. This with an entire row of eight empty tables behind us and others scattered around the room!! I mentioned that I still had wine to finish and was told I could sit at the bar. Really? Why not put the next party at one of the empty tables? Why did we get pushed out, after spending $150 in this place? This has NEVER happened to me before and left me with a very bad feeling about the place. I won’t go back, though I give thumbs up to the chefs and the bartender.
