Great food and bar great view of the river especially on windy days makes you feel out side with out the wind great waves
We were really hoping for something nice after a long day, but this place missed the mark.
We saw they had outdoor seating with a view, so we were excited to check it out. But when we got there, we found out it was fully self-service. You had to order and pay at the bar, and then you’re expected to just check back occasionally to see if your food is ready. They don’t call your name or bring it out. No one even lets you know it’s done, which was a bit of a surprise and definitely not what we were expecting.
So we decided to sit inside instead. Then they closed all the windows that overlooked the water, which killed the atmosphere even more.
That’s when the real issues started. My wife can’t have gluten, and had a few very basic but important questions about the menu. Two of the burgers listed barbecue sauce, and while a lot of barbecue sauces are gluten-free, not all of them are. So she asked if theirs was safe. The server told her it definitely wasn’t gluten-free. Okay, fine — she started looking at other options.
She decided on a salad and asked about the ranch dressing. First she was told it had gluten, then that it didn’t, then back again. Eventually, the server said it was definitely safe. So she ordered it.
A few minutes later, just to be sure, she went up to ask the bartender, who looked like she had more experience. Turns out the barbecue sauce is Sweet Baby Ray’s, which is certified gluten-free. Meanwhile, the server circled back and said the ranch dressing does actually have gluten after all.
For someone who can’t tolerate gluten, that kind of mix-up isn’t just frustrating — it’s risky. Dietary restrictions aren’t preferences. It’s not about being picky, it’s about avoiding days of discomfort or pain. The staff clearly weren’t trained to handle those questions confidently or accurately.
Then my food came. I had ordered garlic Parmesan fries. What I got had vinaigrette on them — definitely not garlic Parmesan. I was told “that’s how we do them.” I had to nearly demand they take them back. They eventually did, but it was awkward.
Most of the food, once it finally arrived and was sorted out, was decent. But the experience as a whole was disappointing. Between the self-serve setup, the misinformation, and the poorly trained staff, we left more stressed than when we walked in.
We won’t be coming back.
What a wonderful place. Staff is amazing. We will be back.
We had a great dinner at Two Barrels while on a fishing trip. The atmosphere was really nice and our server, Lisa, was super attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back next time we are in town.
Beautiful view, kind staff, and delicious food...what more could you ask for!
The bacon cheese burger is amazing
This is a great little restaurant in the hotel. The food is hot and very good, portions generous and fast, and very cheap these days. Two of us ate dinner for $38
Including a beer and a soda!

I almost don't want to leave my rave review because this hidden gem is my go-to stop when traveling from Portland to Boise on the I-84 and I don't want it to get so busy I can't get a table 🤣 but this place IS a gem with unmatched views of the mighty Columbia River, and amazing menu that offers scrumptious meals for every taste and staff that's always friendly and helpful!
Trust me, if you stop here, you will be delighted and leave with a full and satisfied tummy 😋

We all enjoyed our meal, as well as the stunning sunset and river outside. My son mentioned that his food (burnt ends) wasn't that hot. My husband really enjoyed his pulled pork sandwich. My daughter ate all of her cheeseburger (she rarely does that). My meal was good, but I wish I had ordered a salad instead...lol! Service was attentive. My hubby and son reported that the beer was tasty, too.

Really nice place for a small town! I had the elk burger and the fixings and bun was amazing but the elk patty was tasteless and chewy! Not buying that again! But I may go back to give something else a shot.

Our Alaska cod was OVER cooked in fish and chips and fish tacos. Server was friendly but covering the whole dining room. Lots of potential here but food needs an upgrade and server needs help. Caesar salad and Ice cream sundae lacked dressing and chocolate sauce. Wish it had been better.

Today the food had a lot of oil, they must take care of the quality because I have always liked to get to have breakfast.
