The food is really good, but the service from the staff is bad. They give you weird looks and don’t serve you with enthusiasm — you don’t feel welcome.
It could be my favorite place, but the customer service is terrible.

We were there on a quiet Wednesday in November. Walked right in and had a window seat with lovely view of the river. Cavernous place, but quiet enough when we were there. Patty melt was good, although it seemed to be a burger between two pieces of bread, not a fresh made patty. But the Shaver prime rib sandwich was a disaster with one thin, dried piece of fatty beef curling up around the edges. It supposedly had horse radish sauce, but it was just a schmeer. Hard to mess up tater tots, and they were good. Server asked about our meal and discounted the $19 sandwich, so that was appreciated. There were some dirty tables when we came in and a fly kept us company. To survive, this place needs to up their game, get a better cook, and provide better value.

Ordered country fried steak when I got it there was no gravy on my mashed potatoes. I asked the waitress about it and she said they don’t come with gravy. This is the only restaurant I’ve never had gravy on the steak and potatoes. My potatoes to top it off were cold and the steak was over cooked.
It sucked will never eat there again and highly advise against it if your passing through Boardman Oregon.
They didn’t adjust my meal to compensate for shitty food and service.
I ordered a margarita and had to ask for it 3 times before she brought it to me.
Never again!!!

Great food and bar great view of the river especially on windy days makes you feel out side with out the wind great waves
We were really hoping for something nice after a long day, but this place missed the mark.
We saw they had outdoor seating with a view, so we were excited to check it out. But when we got there, we found out it was fully self-service. You had to order and pay at the bar, and then you’re expected to just check back occasionally to see if your food is ready. They don’t call your name or bring it out. No one even lets you know it’s done, which was a bit of a surprise and definitely not what we were expecting.
So we decided to sit inside instead. Then they closed all the windows that overlooked the water, which killed the atmosphere even more.
That’s when the real issues started. My wife can’t have gluten, and had a few very basic but important questions about the menu. Two of the burgers listed barbecue sauce, and while a lot of barbecue sauces are gluten-free, not all of them are. So she asked if theirs was safe. The server told her it definitely wasn’t gluten-free. Okay, fine — she started looking at other options.
She decided on a salad and asked about the ranch dressing. First she was told it had gluten, then that it didn’t, then back again. Eventually, the server said it was definitely safe. So she ordered it.
A few minutes later, just to be sure, she went up to ask the bartender, who looked like she had more experience. Turns out the barbecue sauce is Sweet Baby Ray’s, which is certified gluten-free. Meanwhile, the server circled back and said the ranch dressing does actually have gluten after all.
For someone who can’t tolerate gluten, that kind of mix-up isn’t just frustrating — it’s risky. Dietary restrictions aren’t preferences. It’s not about being picky, it’s about avoiding days of discomfort or pain. The staff clearly weren’t trained to handle those questions confidently or accurately.
Then my food came. I had ordered garlic Parmesan fries. What I got had vinaigrette on them — definitely not garlic Parmesan. I was told “that’s how we do them.” I had to nearly demand they take them back. They eventually did, but it was awkward.
Most of the food, once it finally arrived and was sorted out, was decent. But the experience as a whole was disappointing. Between the self-serve setup, the misinformation, and the poorly trained staff, we left more stressed than when we walked in.
We won’t be coming back.

We had a great dinner at Two Barrels while on a fishing trip. The atmosphere was really nice and our server, Lisa, was super attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back next time we are in town.
Beautiful view, kind staff, and delicious food...what more could you ask for!
The bacon cheese burger is amazing
This is a great little restaurant in the hotel. The food is hot and very good, portions generous and fast, and very cheap these days. Two of us ate dinner for $38
Including a beer and a soda!
