Bell & Whistle Coffee House is a true gem in Brookings! The atmosphere is so friendly and welcoming — you immediately feel at home the moment you walk in. The prices are great, and the drinks are even better! Their chai and pumpkin lattes are absolutely amazing — perfectly balanced, cozy, and full of flavor. It’s the kind of place where you can relax, unwind, and feel genuinely supported by the wonderful people who run it. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this is the perfect spot to grab a great drink and soak up some good vibes. Highly recommend!

I wanna support local small businesses, coffee wasn't bad, etc.
7$ for an iced latte was when I wondered what was going on, and the bible quotes written on the walls when I completely lost it.
Could be ok if people were extremely nice and welcoming but no. Not bad but nothing special justifying seven-US-dollars. Officially the most expensive coffee after 3 months through Canada and western States 🫠

The drinks are good but the people working there make you feel like an inconvenience the second you walk through the door. I’ve tried to smile and say hello but the barista/cashier acts slightly offended by basic human decency lol. I’ve given this place a lot of chances but it’s a bummer every single time. Honestly, I feel uncomfortable walking in and ordering something. Not a very “Christian” feel to the place considering there’s Bible verses all over the walls.

Cozy coffee spot on the pier with a nice atmosphere, clearly loved by locals — you can tell by how busy it is. Unfortunately, the coffee wasn’t great: the milk was overheated, and the flavor was off. Lovely setting, but the drinks could definitely be better.

I loved coming here! Their coffee, baked items, and Squaritos were amazing. The staff were so friendly and quick. They had cold AC blowing the entire day. This is a must check out spot in Brookings!

I ordered a single shot Americano in a small cup and was given a dirty look and a strange attitude by the man working there well I smiled and tried to make Pleasant conversation he wouldn't even look at me as if my order was offensive to him although I was raised Christian I find it odd to have blatant Bible phrases on the walls at a coffee shop as not everybody may have those beliefs and one should be inclusive but at the very least offered decent customer service regardless of if your customer doesn't order frap
