She is new to the area, but so kind and sweet, and really made my experience one to remember. Excellent customer service skills, always on top of everything including drink refills, and was so personable. We left her a huge tip, and I recommend you do so too, she deserves it for being such a hard worker! The food was also incredible. I got the chicken fettuccine Alfredo, very rich and has a great made from scratch taste ! I really enjoyed the dish and the restaurant in general ! Would recommend and I would definitely come back again ! I included photos of my food and the menu !”

“We just moved to Crescent City not too long ago and the options for vegans are slim. While we were in Brookings yesterday I ordered the Vachos and the veggie wrap to take home for dinner! my goodness the best food I have had in a long time! The lady that helped me was super kind and helpful! She shared my enthusiasm with that vegan cheese! The rest of the day I annoyed my husband with how much I love that food! I can't wait to come back!”

The inside and outdoor ambiance is charming. My only wish is that we were there during an event or in the summer!”

“We are on a last minute road trip to enjoy this weather and we chose this place to accommodate my kid and I was expecting to pay like 50$ and our total came out to 32$. We asked if it was a mistake and he said no. Definitely a great deal for this fed 6 hungry souls and gave a us a great variety and the food is quite good. The pepperoni has a touch of spice which is enjoyable. The jojos and chicken with the BBQ sauce is bomb... Thank you for a great meal as we are on our journeys to the redwoods!”

“The best little coffee shop hands down! Coffee is locally roasted and the variety of drinks is amazing. Fully customizable drinks that range from coffees to smoothies and the Booster, a great pick me up if someone isn't in the mood for Java. Near the port and other shops so you can grab a drink, maybe a pastry, and enjoy the coast!”

“The poor girl was by herself, but she was super fast and managed to keep an upbeat attitude while under pressure. We got 3 drinks and they all came out perfect! We made sure to tip well, she deserved it!”

“Really good food. I would call this a ghost kitchen. There is a small space to order but you can’t eat here. They do have a bar upstairs you can eat in, but most be 21 or older. We had kids with us, but wanted to go anyway so it worked out well. We got sandwiches and they good size portions and yummy!”

“I went in for lunch with friends for WA today. The best BLT I’ve ever had. And my friend’s French Dip looked so delicious. The prices were very reasonable. The SUGAR FREE Brownie was amazing. (How did they do that?). Absolutely wonderful!”

“Was here for dinner when they opened at 4 pm. Come early. They fill up. Menu is delightful and hard to choose what you want. I had the shrimp with mango salsa and bacon over grits. The bacon was a little salty for me but taste blended really well with the mangos. Shrimp was Devine. I love grits and to tell the truth I could have made a meal of just grits they were so good. Definitely will be back next trip. I do wish they would add tiramisu for a desert choice. We had the chocolate mousse It was wonder like eating a truffle.”

“I did not know you could get full off oysters. The Oyster Shooters are huge and delicious. I was able to get full off 4 and shrimp cocktail. My wife kiddos said the clam chowder and fish n chips were great as well!”

“Can we all say Steamer clams. YUM!! It's by far the best I have had in a 400 miles radius. I have had them at many places and none compare to the Catalyst. The flavor is on point, that sausage really tops it off. I will always get the steamers. Also the Coastal Lemonade drink is awesome 👌. Their fresh oysters are great too when served on the half shell, not a fan of the ones served in a plastic cup. Just doesnt feel right. Happy to see they are serving their drinks in glasses now, not plastic cups. I highly suggest checking this spot out. They offer out door seating which is great on a sunny day. 🌞 customer service has always been good.”

I ordered a combination plate with a chile relleno, enchilada, and taco with rice and beans. The chile relleno was probably the standout on the plate.

Overall, it wasn’t the most amazing Mexican food I’ve ever had, but it was a good, comfortable meal with large portions and a nice environment.”
