“This is our go-to breakfast spot when visiting Brookings. The ladies are all so nice and the food is great. The French toast was melt in your mouth wonderful and good size portions for breakfast. I had the meat lovers omelet and boyfriend had the eggs Benedict and we shared the red white and blue French toast.”

“We stopped for the night in Brookings, and ended up meeting the owners Angel and Debi. They are a great couple. They told us about the deli. We stopped in today and met Tiffany. She was delightful. My husband had the pastrami, and I had the Railroad 2.0. The sandwiches were fabulous! The market was also very well stocked.”

“We just moved to Crescent City not too long ago and the options for vegans are slim. While we were in Brookings yesterday I ordered the Vachos and the veggie wrap to take home for dinner! my goodness the best food I have had in a long time! The lady that helped me was super kind and helpful! She shared my enthusiasm with that vegan cheese! The rest of the day I annoyed my husband with how much I love that food! “This is a hidden gem. A nice selection of brews. It was just before closing and we figured we would have a beer while we charged the car. Amanda was wonderful and we had a great time. The charger is on the back of the building and there is an entrance there.”

“Wonderful place! Popped into Compass Rose and was so happy to find a friendly kind atmosphere that is welcome to all. LBGTQAI+ friendly 11/10 recommend and the drinks and food are great. There was a steady stream of people coming in and lots of people at tables enjoying their morning. My old standby coffee shop has new ownership and it’s gone downhill, Compass Rose is my new spot.”

“Amazing food, the owner Mr. Berry was so extremely kind and works right next to his staff with a smile on, helping bus tables and helping customers. You’d never know he was the owner if you hadn’t met him personally because he leads his team by example. You can feel how close everyone is there and how well taken care of his customers are. Wonderful food is such an understatement it’s almost a disservice, if you come to Brookings this is a place you can’t miss.”
