“Matt is a great server. He juggled a lively football fan crowd and tended to everyone’s needs like a star. Food is amazing. We had the Nana with meatballs and sausage, a pasta salad side (wonderful smoky, saucy flavor) and a side salad. The olive mix on top negated the need for any salad dressing. Highly recommend.“

“We stopped by Oxenfre Pub on our road trip. It was already 8.30pm and everywhere else was closed or about to close, so this was our only option. Thankfully, Oxenfre was happy to cook us food (which was very tasty, & with quick and friendly service), which we greatly appreciated after a long day on the road. It is obviously a local go-to pub, as, while it wasn't full, was buzzing for karaoke night. The music was loud, but we enjoyed the fun atmosphere of the usual wildly varied quality of singing that comes with karaoke (one guy had an incredible voice!). They have pool tables, sofa chairs, & bar stools at high tables. I can imagine frequenting this pub if we lived in Brookings! I don't have photos to post as it was pretty dark in there- too dark for photos.“

“Good food and good service. Please turn down the live music. It is so loud both inside and out that you can't talk over it. Nice music, it's just a couple of notches too loud. Thanks!“

“It wasn't bad. Food was pretty good, at least fair. No one noticed me walk in for a REALLY long time, I think about 3 other servers walked by me, it WAS lunch time and the were fairly busy, no line though, and the were at least 4 open tables and half the bar seating available. Server was mid af, she didn't refill our drinks even once, and then she came back to check on us before we even got to take a bite of our food, so she might have been new it seemed, her timing super sucked, though she was polite, def not friendly, I think she picked up on my slightly irritated vibes, but I wasn't rude at all, we just really wanted to order after sitting there for so long waiting.
My sandwich was literally 75% bread... Also their clam chowder was wrong...I couldn't eat it, it was all celery and slimy bacon fat, was GNAR GNAR.
I liked the atmosphere it had cool decoration, cool Irish vibe and nice outdoor seating area you can bring your dogs if you wanted. Will try again, won't write it off with one **megh** experience. A better server would have made it much better. Overall pretty good experience, their little steak fries were the best part of the meal. We are going to go back and try their coffee, it looked divine!

Kid-friendliness: You can def bring kids, ppl had their kids there

Wheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp“
