“This is a hidden gem. A nice selection of brews. It was just before closing and we figured we would have a beer while we charged the car. Amanda was wonderful and we had a great time. The charger is on the back of the building and there is an entrance there.“

“Spending the night in Brookings we decided to try a local brewery (of course) before settling in. This little brewery was just across the way and down the street from our accommodations. A quick 5 minute walk to be exact. Found down the stairs in the basement, is this little hole in the wall Lord of the Rings themed brewery. We had the King Under the Pumpkin Stout. Sweet and stout like dessert in a glass, and Hop Back Pale Ale. We also tasted Rohan Red, 3 Hunters IPA as well as Goldberry Kolsch. They have a small, but nice menu of food items available. There is a Pay It Forward list on the wall to take from or give a beer. The space is small and the owners are friendly. This is definitely a locals place. Stop in and have a pint or two, I'm sure they'll be happy to see you.“
