Oh my goodness, what a little hidden gem this is. Reviews about another restaurant and went to try it. It was definitely busy as of course expected by the reviews. Permeable was the rudeness of staff as I came in to get on a waiting list. Super happy that that happened. We ended up coming here to bluewater. Was greeted by three different staff members with a smile and offering for us to where we wish. All staff members are amazing. Once we ordered I noticed some books on the counter from a local author. While waiting for our food, our waitress I believe with Jenny or Jenna, I was talking about how great the series is. We ended up buying the series of books. Most importantly the atmosphere and the food was fantastic. I had the eggs benedict Florentine and my husband had the French chest breakfast, although we were full we finished everything on our plates. Felt at home, definitely had a wonderful time. we're hoping to visit another time before we leave from our vacation here in Brookings.

Food was great our waitress was very nice wish I could remember her name. Picked up a couple G A Cockerham murder mystery books on the way out.

I'm not going to lie. The location and strange smell as I initially walked in was questionable. I'm SO HAPPY I took the chance. BEST bacon I've ever had really great biscuits and gravy. The staff was wonderful and so kind!

EGGS BENEDICT (must try) BEST BLOODY MARY

after leaving another restaurant that had great reviews because it was too busy. we drove down the street and accidentally drove into blue water. we walked in created immediately promise he didn't immediately and the food was crazy amazing. I even bought a series of books from a local author. definitely going back while we're visiting.

From what we observed, I think this is a spot for older locals to come on a daily basis. When we walked in, I told my wife it smelled like a pet shop. Turns out, there’s a pet shop next door. The experience improved very little from there. We somehow had three servers but still didn’t manage to get refills or plates cleared. The food was better than I’d expected but nothing to bring us back. And the bill for two people was $60!

Been here before, always received great service and awesome meals.
But today-not so good...
Was sat at a table, received my coffee, placed my order; received my meal-but had to wait on the toast, so food cold by the time I got the toast...hmmm...no silverware...waited figuring the server might have noticed I wasn't eating...did I mention no silverware...so after about 15 minutes I went to pay for my coffee; cashier said I had breakfast also, to which I replied: "well, if wanted to eat breakfast with my fingers-I would have stayed home"...
So can't rate the food, because I never got to eat it...

We went to Blue Water today and we're promptly seated. We were served water. Then ignored. It was disappointing as they were not that busy.

Weight staff is wonderful. Super polite and quick to help. The place was recommended to us by a Fred Meyer's cashier. I was not disappointed.

Burgers were really good. Handcrafted and very tasty.
I'm adding another order.I had here which was a cream of wheat to go. The picture might not be very good but what I added and got with it was absolutely amazing. I was given a generous dollop of Brown sugar on the side. As well as an english muffin with butter. An extra side of butter with jam for simply ordering a cream of wheat. It was delicious and very filling. I felt like I got a complete meal. Totally. Recommend this place for any breakfast meal.
