Foxy's Restaurant Reviews
First visit was one of many more to come. Really enjoyed the large windows and ocean view. Service was friendly and attentive. Food was great. We live in Port Orford but shop in Brookings/Harbor at least once a month. We will enjoy eating here again. The Huevos Rancheros and chicken fried steak were delish!
We came here on a Tuesday morning, had to wait for 10 minutes before anyone even came to the entry to seat us. Have now been waiting 20 min at our table for a waitress to come and take an order. They are short staffed, and each of them are focused an anything but taking orders. I would say, allow an hour from the time you arrive until you are served at all.
Also, they have an ant problem, all along the window ledge where we’re sitting, and even tables further in are...read full review
the food was so good! The service unfortunately did not match the food. Get your food to go because the servers here suck. First when we walked in I was walked past multiple times without being greeted.. if you’re busy, a quick “I’ll be right with you” is key. Foxy's Restaurant offers a great local vibe, beautiful ocean views, and a wonderful atmosphere. With a wide range of options on their breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus, there's something for everyone. The variety of omelets is quite impressive, and the pancakes are delicious. Prices are affordable for families, making it a good spot for a sunset beach take-out picnic or dine-in experience. The new location features large windows and booths with ocean views, although some booths are ripped and the floors need attention. The hash browns are perfectly cooked, and the Reuben was good, but the fried steak sandwich was not a hit. Service can be slow, but the mimosas are great, and there’s lots of parking available. Visitors often find the food wonderfully tasty, especially breakfast, and the staff is friendly and efficient. Even on overcast days, the views remain beautiful, adding to the enjoyable experience. It’s a convenient place to relax after some time at the Beachfront RV Park, with over 60 types of omelets to choose from, and the coffee with flavored creamers is a nice touch. Many guests love returning for the good food, great service, and the close proximity to the ocean, which makes for a perfect outing.
