Foxy's Restaurant

We came here on a Tuesday morning, had to wait for 10 minutes before anyone even came to the entry to seat us. Have now been waiting 20 min at our table for a waitress to come and take an order. They are short staffed, and each of them are focused an anything but taking orders. I would say, allow an hour from the time you arrive until you are served at all. Also, they have an ant problem, all along the window ledge where we’re sitting, and even tables further in are complaining. Ants in the sugar container, in the salt..,

the food was so good! The service unfortunately did not match the food. Get your food to go because the servers here suck. First when we walked in I was walked past multiple times without being greeted.. if you’re busy, a quick “I’ll be right with you” is key. Once we got sat it took forever for our server to come to us, we ordered an appetizer along with our main dishes because we were ready for order after sitting for so long. Food came out pretty quick but our main meals came out first. The server set our plates down fast and didn’t mention anything about the appetizer and that’s when I figured she must have not rung it in which was fine since our food came out quick. But then a minute later she runs out with the appetizer and sets it down fast and walks away. We didn’t even get a chance to tell her we don’t want the appetizer AFTER we got our meals. But whatever we took it to go. During our meal I saw multiple customers get up and have to ask for coffee/ to go boxes while our server was non existent most of the time. When she did finally come check on our table she asked “is everything okay over here” and started trying to walk away as my fiancé is asking for boxes and a check. Maybe she figured we were good and didn’t need anything, but why assume and walk off from a table after you asked them a question. Lastly, when paying, the server shoved the handheld payment device like 5 inches from my fiancés face and asked tip or no tip. We tipped %20 but %0 was deserved for service. Really good food though.

There is no outdoor seating.
They are not dog friendly. Only service dogs.

Nice people. Food is ok. They have a salad bar.

Chose this place as mainly the outdoor seating option. Felt out of place with training dog. Not their fault. Just wish I knew. Got sneers from other customers and ended up leaving.

Without those two factors it would have been ok. But leaving an honest review for others as advertised as dog friendly.

Yikes. Nobody there to seat guests… we were all writing our own names on the list. Everyone waited 20+ minutes and then left when nobody showed up to seat any of us.

Clam chowder tastes like flour. More like potato soup. Seven of us had it and most didn't finish it. The fish was good

The reviews undersell this place. Food (breakfast) wonderfully! Staff, amazing, and even though it was overcast the view was also wonderful.

This is exactly what I look for when on a road trip! Wish I could come back!!!

Foxy’s Restaurant is a convenient place to eat, especially if you are next door at the Beachfront RV Park and want a break from making breakfast or lunch. The omelettes come in “Regular” size - 3 eggs, and “Extra Large” - 6 eggs, which is what I ordered. There are over 60 types of omelettes to choose from and I chose the sausage, zucchini, mushroom, & cheese one, #33, and it was delicious! The toast was great, and the coffee had a good flavor, plus they had flavored coffee creamers to add to it, as well as sugar, and sugar alternative types. The waitress was very efficient and friendly. I will definitely come back here when I’m in Brookings on the Southern Oregon Coast!

Love coming here when I'm in town. Can't beat the service. And the food is awesome.
Had a nice cold beer to refresh before a nice walk to the ocean just across the road.
