We had been looking for a donut place in Brookings but thought this was a doggie treats place since the building is full of pet signs. Boy, are we sad we took so long to find this place! We will be coming back here often now!
It is tucked back in behind everything down a narrow hallway, but is worth finding! The donuts were really good, although a bit expensive for what we are used to - but isn't everything these days?!
Cinnamon rolls smothered in maple glaze were awesome, other donuts didn't disappoint either! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone!
Although we didn't try them, they have lots of other things like breakfast sandwiches and regular breads and other bakery items - and no doggie treats anywhere in sight!

I walked over from our hotel to get coffee and a pastry. The girl there was very friendly and helpful. The coffee was ok, but the apple fritter was outstanding! When my wife and kids woke up, I took them and they loved everything they got!

These donuts are mind blowing and phenomenal! You could tell so much thought and love went into them and that they were fried with fresh oil. We were in Brookings on a family trip and stopped here to grab donuts for a fun breakfast. Needless to say we were all wanting to go back for more and tried to go back later in the day to get pretzels but he was already sold out. So get while the getting in good! This will be a regular stop anytime we are on the Coast.

One of the best bakeries I've ever been to. The service was amazing and the pastries were out of this world! Definitely grab the ham and cheese croissant, you won't regret it!

Fresh baked goods with long lines out the door -- excellent selection & high quality -- Strongly recommend you get there early (opens @ 6 AM) cuz your favorite item will probably sell out before 9 AM-- Now open 5 days each week (Thursday thru Monday)

Every once in a while, we are fortunate to discover a small business getting it all right! Spencer, Owner and Baker/Chef extraordinaire, prepares some of the best baked goods we've experienced, Anywhere. Anywhere! Really!
Looking into the case of deliciousness, once can see each item is given proper care, and looks as if it was made to display, and tastes even better.
There is a wide variety of incredibly fresh and some quite unique choices. I enjoyed a candied ginger scone. What?? The taste intersection of the ginger and the scone was sublime.
And, Real Actual Croissant. Not the sad interpretations one normally finds, but actual properly developed and baked croissant.
The bakery opens at 6AM (closed Tuesday and Wednesdays). The smart shopper gets there very early, especially Friday and Saturdays, where the bakery sells out rather early.
