Nice portions of fresh fish but fryer is too low so fries are raw and fish is opaque. Tried to get it microwaved but they insisted on redoing it even though cook angrily said “It’ll come out the same.” Sure enough it came out the same, clear and gray. When we took it up again cook lost his temper with us. Truly I NEVER returned food before but I just couldn’t eat this chewy fish. Waitress was really nice and I felt bad that she was in the middle of it. I should have gone with the clam chowder. Cook it higher or cook it longer please.

Cute place with local vibe. We got vats of clam chowder to bring home for Christmas Eve family dinner in Humboldt county. Reheated in cricket pot, served with sourdough. Everyone raved & leftovers quickly eaten as well!

Anyone who's rated this place below a 4 star needs to go back to Red Lobster and stay there because they have no damn clue what real seafood is. The line that goes out the door 20 people deep agrees.
Some damn fine clam chowder. Get the bread bowl it's worth it.

We went on a Sunday and there was definitely a line, but the only other place I know that serves Clam Chowder in a Sourdough Bread bowl, is located in Crescent City, California. We sat inside after ordering our meals and it was maybe a 10 minute wait before they brought out our food. But the Clam Chowder is Great! Very Rich and creamy and I got full before I even reached the bottom.

Walk up counter to order your food. The claim chowder was good. My husband liked the fish tacos. The crab melt was enjoyed by my friend. The fish and chips looked delicious. My friend had them. I will be ordering them next time.
