Yummy Yummy in your tummy! Whenever we come to the coast … the Hungry Clam is where we get our Clam Chowder fix … it never fails! Absolutely delicious and the staff are always friendly! Stop by, your tummy will thank you for it!
I enjoyed the food here. I was hoping for cheaper prices by getting seafood right at the harbor. But $15-$26 for the range wasn't bad. Service was decent. Mostly felt like just another number. But I'm not sure if the staff was getting done with a massive dinner rush. We did show up around 6:30ish. But they weren't rude and they were willing to help answer questions. Overall, I'd definitely go back.
The food is fresh seafood. The clam chowder in a sourdough bun was a favorite! 😋
The service depends on how busy it is at the time. When we went on a Saturday the long line ensured a long wait for the food to arrive. The staff was great, working hard to get to everyone ASAP. The Hungry Clam is obviously well recommended, just it's in a very small building with a tiny kitchen! It was wonderful for the whole family.
