Food is always good. Asked about brand of gluten free bread they use and got an answer in moments. Pleasant place.
Great breakfast, plenty of food. Cute I side.

Delicious breakfast for a fair price with fast attentive service. Rustic marina-like atmosphere. Would definitely go there again when in the area!

We went here while on vacation to the redwoods and I swear it was one of the only good places we had our entire trip! Get the swedish crepes - they are basically like big thin pancakes, so good. This is how my grandma made pancakes growing up. The ham was fine and the biscuit was also good. My partner got the pancakes and loved them. It was very busy and isn't the biggest place so it took a minute for us to get a table. It's a little cramped but not too close to be uncomfortable. Would go here all the time if I was local.

We had a great server. Her name was Lisa. She or someone like her can make or break how you feel about your meal. Actually I got too much food. So I guess that's a good thing. But everything was great.

I'm very disappointed.
I've been here many times while coming to brookings and never had issues before, we were greeted by a very pissy lady that sat us and served us coffee at that point she continued to treat us like we were bothering her just by our existence so we decided we didn't want to eat there so we asked for our check, payed $6 for our 2 poor quality coffees to go just so we wouldn't be dine and dashing and left. We sadly won't be back.

If it weren't for the yummy pancakes I would have chalked this visit under unpleasant. Expansion in there is needed desperately. They have no space to move really, especially when it's packed FULL of people. If you turn in your chair you'd Elbow somebody. Some of the waitresses need to stow there attitude, because you shouldn't be acting like you know better than your paying customer. Being kind means nothing if you arn't humble as well. I laughed when I read someone say the noise level was moderate. UN NO it's extremely loud. The food we had was good. Cute happy face pancakes for kids. My little one really liked theirs. But there's room for improvement everywhere. I know it'll become excellent in time. I will be back to taste again. Thank you everyone for doing your best! 👋🏻
