Food wasn't very good, had a chimichanga on the lunch menu with rice and beans. The food wasn't very warm, outside of chimichanga was tough and hard to cut, shredded beef on the inside had very little flavor but rice and beans were good (would have been better if they had been warmer) but the chips were good. Also was overcharged for the meal. This was the 2nd time of going back to see if it was better, but it wasn't so won't be going back 😔

BEST MEXICAN FOOD in Brookings hands down!! Maria the owner is a delight. We are so blessed to have this restaurant in our community! The chicken salad is healthy and delicious!! So many good dishes, great service, and great prices!

Never going back poor service. Had to wait over a half an hour for our food . When the place was empty and then 3 guys came in after us and got there food in 10 minutes while we waited. Poor judgment on them, on how to treat customers. I have told people not to ever eat there.

Ordered a mango margarita and it tasted like water with yellow food coloring. It did not taste like mango or sweet and the worst part was there was no rim with salt or TajÃn. The salsa with the chips tasted sour and not like salsa should taste. The restaurant was a bit dirty, ripped booth seats , old carpet. Never coming back here again. Dave your money and go elsewhere.
My favorite Mexican restaurant in Brookings bar far.
Parking: Parking is great.
Kid-friendliness: They have their own kids in the restaurant every night, it's great.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes you can roll right in with a wheelchair.

When we walked in, we were greeted with a friendly smile and immediate attention. There was a massive group of firefighters ahead of us, but they still got us sat down right away. We took a while to go through the massive menu, and finally decided on some enchiladas and one of their specials. Food was amazing, portions were massive, great value.
Even though there was only 2 people working on front end, service was friendly, prompt, and never lacking despite a packed restaurant. Flavors were amazing, one portion is definitely enough to split, but trust me, you won't want to share.
Check out Rancho Viejo, support a local business and enjoy the same experience we did! 5 stars!

We had lunch today and I had crab enchiladas. They were clearly not fresh and smelled and tasted really fishy. I told the waitress and she just looked at me and said it was fresh. No offer to change it or discount it. Everything else was very good but we won’t return again due to her clear indifference to my remark.
