They have guys pretending to be women that work there that makes for a very uncomfortable environment I personally won’t shop there
Good sushi for a grocery store
They treat their workers poorly and refuse to give them a decent wage
I love all Fred Meyer stores. Their prices are fair for the brands they carry and they provide a lot of jobs for areas that really need them. However, in my recent experiences (because I've been shopping here for almost 2 decades) I have noticed less staff assisting customers while they're shopping, but this could simply be due to a shifting of focus with the Fred Meyer brand. I was excited and finally decided to try out their pick-up service today. I downloaded the app, picked out my items (17 in total and all said to be in stock and available for pick up), I checked out, picked out my time-slot, and paid. About an hour later I got a notification saying that two items weren't in stock and needed approved substitutions, mind you, everything I bought gave them the substitution option if the product wasn't in stock, I approved the substitutions and when we got there only half the order was given to us. They couldn't find the products listed or substitutions for: organic milk, organic eggs, dishwasher rinse aid, Kix cereal, sweet potatoes, and more. My spouse went inside and found every single item they said they didn't have except one which he found a substitute for. If I was a handicapped person or someone who chose delivery, this would be completely unacceptable. My spouse found 6 items they said they couldn't in 5 mins and he doesn't work there. Overall, one thumb down for the pick up service. And one thumb up for the store as a whole. You guys need to work on this. Please. This community is highly populated with elderly people that need this service.
