Great food, good wait staff and good atmosphere. Had the fish and chips - best one i have had yet! So so good. And the fries were really good and fresh.

Zola’s Pizza is always our go-to stop when we pass through Brookings. From the moment we walked in, our kids were welcomed with a small gift, which immediately set the tone. Then the local high school students came in to carol, which was such a genuine, small-town Christmas moment that you just cannot manufacture.
The food is consistently excellent. I got my habanero fix, and it absolutely delivered. Great flavor, great heat, and exactly what I was hoping for. The service was friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish.
We live in Grants Pass, but Zola’s Pizza has a loyal customer in our family every time we are in Brookings. This place does not just serve great pizza, it creates an experience that makes you want to come back.

While we waited for our table, we checked out the arcade nearby. Got a text when our table was ready. Had the Margherita pizza and another with bacon and jalapeños. The crust on the Margherita was a lot chewier and crisper. Service was god awful, no plates, no silverware and a server who didn’t bother greeting us. Ugh, get a new job.

Update 2025: recipe changed and the crust doesn't even look the same as it used to when it was in the old location. The cheese didn't taste the same either.

I'll be real with y'all, I usually don't eat wheat. I've been gluten free for four years.
That being said, I was so hungry I'd have eaten my shoe. My hubby insisted I at least TRY the pizza. Okay... Fine, he wins.
Prior to going gf, I'd eaten a lot of pizza. I'd made a lot of pizza from scratch. I'm a damn good chef in my own right. I've got sourdough starter in my fridge as a matter of fact.
My pizza and all other pizza I've ever eaten (with the exception of the pizzeria next to the train station in Davis, CA) was sub par. Yes, I still took my enzymes and benadryl, BUT that flavor can't be replicated, gluten intolerance due to autoimmune disorders be damned.
It. Is. That. Good.
Go. Support this business, and their amazing staff. You'll be so glad you did. Tell them the coffee lady sent you.

I think they must have changed their dough. It was like cardboard. And order took over an hour and 10 minutes for just 1 pizza and wings. I've been coming from out of town for years!!! I was bummed.

Zola’s on the Water is outstanding! Their skinny pizza is perfectly crisp and loaded with flavor—light, cheesy, and so satisfying without feeling heavy. The mini pizza is a brilliant little treat too: great for sharing or when you want a taste of a few different toppings. Charming waterfront setting, friendly staff, and excellent attention to detail make this a must-visit spot in Brookings. Highly recommend trying both the skinny and mini pizzas!

We split a pizza, the crust was different than what most are used to, but tasty. The waitress was very friendly and kind.
