Confusing layout, seating is a bit weird, pricing is on the high end for the small portion sizes. Nice staff. Sad club sandwich was poorly executed and tiny. Not sure that I will ever go back.

I'd recommend coming here, if you want burnt french fries, and you want to wait 50 minutes for a sandwich to come out. Also, on the Lamb sandwich they only had two of the proposed toppings, but didn't tell us that, so we just got to be incredibly disappointed and have our time wasted. Thanks for nothing.

Very nice sandwich shop. Out on a motorcycle ride and headed to Canby. Looking for a cool place to stop, rest, eat and warm up. Came across Wayward and thought it was fitting for this day, as I'm way out of place. At the looks of things from the outside they are in a popular part of town with indoor and outdoor seating. Walked into the big open garage door and parked at the nearest table. They have table service! This is so nice to have service there is a real lack in food establishments these days. And now the gas stations are self service. Dude! The Governor just let go of tens of thousands of jobs. Why?Anyway, they have great service at Wayward. Really, the ladies looked out for me this morning ensuring my coffee is topped, and I had everything I needed. I ordered the pastrami hash. Rich and tasty. The sauce way red with a hint sweet. I'm sorry to say the are closed for two weeks for changes. I hope not to many as I really like this place.

The food here was pretty good. We unfortunately came in on a super busy night with trivia going on. I will say the food came out quicker than expected, though! My husband absolutely loved his torta sandwich. He said it was nice actually getting a spicy sandwich. I enjoyed my blt, though I think Ciabatta Bread would have put it over the top. My daughter seemed to enjoy her grilled cheese as well. The cheese curds were really good, as well as the fries. I would go here again.

I call this the fancy sandwich shop in Canby: it's definitely no Subway or JJ's. The sandwiches are very tasty. The fries are great. The salads are large and never disappoint. It is not inexpensive, so beware of tge bill. All in all its a good lunch or casual dinner stop and I recommend.

We have been driving by this place for too long without stopping. Everything we have ordered has been great. They put a little twist to the standard sandwich and it's rich with surprising taste. All the staff seems happy and provides great service. 4 stars was for the live music that was less than good.
One of the best places to eat in Canby. One of the reasons I love them is that they not only have great atmosphere, and fun staff, b they also have many wheat and dairy free options. The owner is always great guy and works his arse off. My personal favorites are the steak frites and the street tacos.

51 min wait for food, the reason is because the ticket was lost. My question is why isnt the server checking on why a table was sitting for almost an hour with only water? 10% discount for the inconvenience, should be completely comped. Lessons learned, not relying for a work lunch meeting next time..

April was an ABSOLUTE delight!She was over to our table right away to grab us some drinks + appetizers, and was quick on her feet. As someone in hospitality, it’s beautiful to see the hospitality bone in other establishments. Not only April, but all of the staff!The food was amazing, and definitely hit the spot. Come on over to Canby, it’s well worth the drive!

We were in Canby for the fair and found this gem nearby. April greeted us and honestly the best server I’ve seen in years. Kind, quick and checked in frequently. The food was soooo good too. We live in Salem, but it’s absolutely worth the drive to go back!!
