Ecola Seafood serves up some really delicious fish. The halibut fish and chips is fantastic. The only problem is the tartar sauce is really bad.

Stopped in for a quick bite, they have a patio outside that is dog friendly. The clam chowder and fish and chips were so delicious.

Underwhelming. I don’t recommend crab cakes at all. Clam chowder and fried cod were edible but not remarkable. Gotta be honest, but given how touristy the area is, not sure that this experience is going to be much different than other local options.

Vegetarian options: No vegetarian options.

Easily the best fish and chips of my life. I had halibut, but I’m sure they are all good.

I love good seafood. Used to proudly sport fish my own have lived on the coast more than once Gold Beach and Newport. I am very picky about quality. Ecola restaurant far exceeded my expectations. Friendly staff and ownership. Fortunately they have one of my favorites fresh razor clams. It was fantastic and admittedly I was a slightly disappointed with one of the clams that I ordered and it was made right with no hesitation. I have checked seafood restaurants from Gold Beach to Astoria and no one beats the quality and freshness that Ecola restaurant offers. Well eating you can watch a slideshow of their boats and catch. I only wish I lived closer so I could try everything on the menu. I know it would be the best anywhere. They're fresh display case is absolutely beautiful. And the offerings like smoked salmon and crab look absolutely delicious. The lady in charge I think the one in the family picture holding what appears to be grandchildren is a very very nice person. Go there you'll be happy you did.

Not sure what the rave is about this place but we did not have the food experience many reviewers had at this place. The first part of our trip we were in Newport Oregon and we had excellent seafood there. Two outstanding restaurants we recommend; Local Oceans and Tidal Raves. So, for our visit to Cannon Beach, this restaurant was at the top of our list because of the reviews. The restaurant has no view of the ocean (not a big deal) and the seafood was not near as good as the restaurants we tried in Newport. For the price, (and it was pricey for a fast food restaurant environment) the next time we are in Cannon Beach, we will pass.
