Not friendly leave you waiting forever even with open tables.

This is always a must stop when we're in Cannon Beach. Service was a bit slow as the dude in the bar left a lot to be desired in terms of service. Beyond that though, great place to stop and have some food and a cold beer.

If I could give 10 stars I would! We went on a double date on Sunday night and the service was fast & fantastic. I didn’t catch our servers name, but he had a long ponytail and he was amazing! So helpful with his recommendations and he was so friendly.
I got the salmon dish, per our servers suggestion and it was delicious!! Best salmon I’ve ever had. We also got a calamari appetizer and cookie dessert. 10/10. Highly recommend!!!!

I love this place! My hubby and I always ate here while staying in town. Food great, service fun and kind. The hostess Janet was so kind when I said it was my first solo dinner there since my hubby passed away a few months ago.

It’s overrated and a bit overpriced for what the food tastes like. We had Dungeness Ravioli and Dungeness Mac n Cheese - they’re ok. 😅

If you are lucky enough to get Krista as your wait person you will have a great experience. I haven’t had such good service from someone in a long time. Food was good and atmosphere was good.

Yall should not be able to call the crab “mac n cheese” mac n cheese. It had zero cheese and zero flavor. Would not recommend even to the relatives I hate at Thanksgiving dinner. #learnhowtomakemacncheese

Thank you Pelican Brewing - Cannon Beach (Pelican Brewing Company) for having an amazing vegan option available. It was a cold wet day in Cannon Beach and it was so refreshing to come in from out of the rain to a restaurant with a really nice, bright , open airy atmosphere.

They had a House Salad that could be made vegan but I was in the mood for something more unique, with a bit of flare, and I feel like I found that and more in their Ginger Lime Portobello Bowl, which is vegan as is, no modifications needed. There was a lot of bold flavors intermingling here, such as house made pickled vegetables, rice noodles, red cabbage, and it worked on every level .. every bite was a burst of flavor. The dish set us back a total of $25.99 before tax, so not cheap by any stretch, but definitely tasty.

If you're more in the mood for a burger, their menu does mention availability of a vegan black bean patty that can be substituted for in any of their burgers, which is much appreciated. I think they can up their game though, in addition to having the patty as an available substitute, to also construct a burger that's vegan from top to bottom, bun, patty, condiments, fixings, etc... this vegan patrons can easily choose a vegan burger option without having to play 20 questions about the ingredients of all the items. I think doing so would be an easy enough implementation and SUPER easy win to help elevate their vegan game even further!

Vegetarian options: A few vegan items. A salad that could be make vegan, a Ginger Lime Portobello bowl (very tasty), and a vegan black bean burger that can be substituted in any of their burgers *but* no complete vegan burger sandwich options on their menu, a definite but easily correctable oversight.

Consistently amazing. I always get the house salad with smoked tri tip (no cranberries no almonds and berry vinaigrette due to food allergies) and it never ever misses. It’s always tender and delicious and they use a good amount of lettuce so it’s one of those salads that grows as you dig into it. I recommend this place to everyone and it’s worth the price and the wait during busy seasons. Thanks for always being super cool about food allergies/intolerances and making the best tri tip around. Y’all are my comfort restaurant and it’s always so consistent no matter which location I go to.

During our time at Cannon Beach, we were fortunate enough to have Kailee as our bartender/server. Each visit, she curated a culinary experience second to none. Full of laughs and full of flavor, this spot is a MUST! I hope you get Kailee like we did!

Had a terrible experience at this place. Lots of tables available and the hostess walked me to the back of the bar area which I did not ask to sit in and then she got an attitude when I requested to sit at a regular table in the restaurant instead of the high tables back in the bar area. I was sat at a table in front of the door with the cold air blowing on me everytime someone entered. I didn't even want to eat there after the attitude I got with my request. If I could give zero stars for service I definitely would. Good luck if you decide to eat at this place.

Food was good but nothing special. Service and atmosphere were good as well. It's a local spot with tourist prices. $60 for 2 sandwiches and fries.
