We were on our way back to our campsite after spending the day in Astoria, and stopped here since they were open a bit later than other places. We got a seat outside after a 15 minute wait. The service here was top notch once we were seated. It's a busy Saturday night, with almost every seat being full, and our server Katie was quick to get us taken care of. We would see her bussing her own tables with a smile on her face and she stopped by each of her tables quite often. The only negative is that we were a bit shocked by the prices on the menu. Even appetizers were $20+. After travelling through 9 states from the eastcoast, this was the most expensive bar and grill we've stopped at. I don't mind a high price for something special, but ultimately the offerings here are just jazzed up bar foods. We shared a flatbread, which was great, but not worth $25 considering we can get a full pie from a pizzeria for the same price. After a pretzel, personal pizza, and 4 beers we racked up a $75 bill. The food was good, but not THAT good, y'know?

My husband had an ipa with his 14 hr. Tri-tip entree. He loved it! I had clam chowder and house salad which were yummy, as well. We shared the Marionberry Buckle with vanilla ice cream. It was a perfect end to a perfect meal! Our server ,Evette, was very attentive and personable. We highly recommend this fun restaurant!

Food was very mid. With the high price, it was not worth it at all.

Not what I expected Fish and Chips to be, the breading was more like fishsticks. The accompanying coleslaw was watery and bland.

The Shrimp tacos were alright, but the corn salad was somehow spicy yet bland.

The clam chowder and beer was pretty good! This is a brewery after all, so I guess they get a sort of pass on the food. But the prices!

The best house-brewed root beer we've had! Great ambiance for families or groups. Nice menu with variety and great service. Recommend.

Food was tasty and plentiful. Service was good. It was noisy, but expect that as busy as they are. Expensive, as everything in Cannon Beach is presently.

took the family here after they visited Cannon Beach for the first time and everyone loved it. Great beer, great service (even though it was packed), good food, clean environment and plenty of options for everyone, including me and my partner who is vegan (and shes vegan + gf) we always love a menu that points out the dietary restrictions easily.

It must take a village of staff to keep this place operating to deserve a 5 star and this place deserved it.

Worst food ever. The shrimp tasted like burnt tires, the $14 mai tai tasted like watered down trash juice…the service sucked…just don’t go here

I had an outstanding dining experience at Pelican Brewing. The location is perfect, just steps away from the beach, which creates a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere.

I ordered the Bacon Brie Pizza and the famous Tsunami Burger with fries, which were absolutely sensational – crispy, flavorful, and the perfect side. I also got to try a variety of their beers, each one unique and crafted with remarkable quality, living up to the brewery’s great reputation.

One of the highlights was definitely the staff’s professionalism and kindness. Everyone was extremely polite, attentive to details, and always welcoming. Service was impeccable—the food arrived very quickly, and the well-organized setting shows how much the management truly cares about their customers’ comfort.

Congratulations to the entire team and the managers for running such an exceptional place! Their passion and dedication shine through in every detail—from the food and drinks to the organization and friendly atmosphere. Pelican Brewing is without a doubt a spot I highly recommend and one I’d gladly return to anytime.

This was our second time at Cannon Beach and our fourth visit to Pelican Brewing. The food is always great with plenty of options to choose from. The staff are friendly, and we love that it’s pet-friendly too. Always a reliable spot—highly recommended!

We stopped to get swag and then decided to stay for a snack. We sat at the bar, super friendly staff! Very clean! We had the stupendous clam chowder, and an amazing flatbread. We were very impressed with the menu, food, service and ambiance! A must stop. Oh we did get our swag!

Solid local brewpub. I had a flight and fish n chips (which they let me sub a salad at no cost). Everything was yummy. It's busy in high season as expected, but it's worth the wait.

Boring, very expensive food. Our server was pretty bad, asked if we wanted boxes and a check far beyond any of us being done.

Only tried this one sandwich but it was good and the fries and sauces all had good flavors. All the other food and beers looked tasty
