This place is amazing! The food and service was outstanding. Family owned and operated, very special authentic Italian. Owner/chef makes a point of meeting everyone. I highly recommend this to anyone as a must go while visiting Willamette Valley. We went on Sunday which was Gnocchi and Pizza night menu, and this Gnocchi is unforgettably fantastic. We had a party of four and shared our gnocchi orders so we could try multiple kinds - many great choices! Go and enjoy!
Dario outdid himself again. His cooking is beyond compare, and his seasoned staff are highly skilled in service delivery. And Steve from Ruby provided stellar commentary to accompany his wines. Yet another memorable occasion at Rosmarino.
We are visiting the area and got a tip to go to Rosmarino from a wine tasting. Incredibly happy that it came up in conversation. From the moment we walked through the door until we left the service was friendly, warm and relaxed. Dario gave us a fantastic wine recommendation and we were off to enjoying a delicious lunch. We had it all, from bread to gelato (so delicious) with the best pasta I have ever had the privilege to enjoy. It was an amazing experience and joy to have a meal at this restaurant.
Amazing food with excellent service. Would definitely recommend any of these dishes, especially the lemon berry mascarpone!

Found this hidden gem while searching for Italian restaurants. We went on Sunday when they offer Pizza and Gnocchi. Me and my wife both are vegetarians and ordered: Mediterranea pizza, Arrabbiatta gnocchi and Crema Genovese gnocchi. All items tasted really good. The chef (who is Italian) was walking around and chatting with people which was nice. I would recommend this place for your next Italian food craving!

For a place that applauds itself heavily on being Italian in every aspect, they are the least child friendly place we have ever been to. On a day that we happened to stop by, during lavender season, my husband was treated by the hostess like he was worse than the kitchen scum on her shoes.
We did not have a reservation, however the restaurant was at non-peak hours, and they were semi nice until he requested that we have a larger table as we did have two children with us who could fit into highchair seats. At the mention of this the hostess made a sour face, saying we could “be away from guests with reservations” on the patio. No problem at all, but we took this as you did not want us at your restaurant. He asked if that was all right and she replied “I guess.” After relaying this to me (I stayed in the car with my children in case there were too many reservations to be seated) it was decided we would leave to be seated at a more family friendly Italian restaurant closer to our home.
Your lentil soup may be award worthy, but the service is less than one star. Do better, and maybe consider your rich person, child free tourist experience isn’t the only one people deserve.

We walked in here for a quick lunch during a work field trip.
Not having a reservation they seated us in a backyard patio completely devoid of the simple charm in the main hall.
This is supposed to be a place where you go to taste good wines with the food. We weren’t in that mood.
We ordered the “soup of the day” which happened to be lentil soup. I ordered the lasagna and my colleague had rigatoni bolognese.
This was three days ago. I’m still savoring the lentil soup, likely the best I’ve ever had.
The lasagna, well, if there is something difficult is making an ordinary dish in a way it’s extraordinary. Nothing exotic, no variations, no reinventing, just taking the craftsmanship to the level of sublime. I really didn’t want to finish so I kept having smaller pieces each time.
Amazing food, all the rest just fine.
Our waiter was very cool too.

This meal and the experience was exceptional. The food is as good as everyone says, and saying it again would not do it justice. You just have to try it. The staff treats you like an old friend, which makes the whole experience so welcoming. And the chef? He’s not just a great cook but a super gracious host who makes you feel like family. Honestly, it didn’t even feel like eating out—it felt like a meal with people who really care about you. Can’t recommend it enough!

I cannot speak enough about how good of an experience I had here! I came for my 6 year anniversary and it exceeded all expectations! From the service, atmosphere, food, and incredibly friendly owner I was very pleased with our experience! This will now be a top spot for me and my family to go.

My wife and I came here for our anniversary. We loved the atmosphere, and the pacing of the meal was excellent. The staff were friendly and skillful, and even though we didn't drink wine the representative from the winery took the time to talk to us and make us feel included. The food was amazing. Every time we thought the flavor couldn't be topped the next course came out. The night was an incredible experience, and we hope to come back again as soon as we can.

One of my favorite restaurants to go to. Authentic Italian food, great wine selection and good service. Prices are reasonable. Ambiance is terrific. Sometimes it can be hard to get a reservation, so make sure to call ahead.
