Really really dry everything. We had a BLT and even asked for extra wet anything on one for my niece, and regular on the other, we got one rock hard with none and one rock hard with a very small amount on one side. Sea cinnamon rolls were worse in the same fashion. Cut my mouth several times trying to get it down. However, they were very kind about an issue with my card and even offered to comp one of the sandwiches. In the end I was VERY pleased with service but furious at the price I paid for what could have been easier to use as a deadly weapon then eaten as a sandwich. Even after 2 hours in the fridge it was still rock hard and cut gums on my niece.

Excellent bakery! Everything we tried was flavorful and tasty! Good coffee but the baked goods are excellent. They also have a fun selection of syrups and jams/curd. We are only in town a couple of days but will stop here everyday.

Love Carlton Bakery shortbread cookies, and every time I'm here, I stop to get some. Their pastries are also very good. Had a bacon cheese croissant for a quick bite last week, and it was perfect warmed up. This is a can't make a wrong choice kind of place for me.

It's worth the drive! Wow, some wonderful pastries, great veggies quiche, and a can't put it down sandwich. I hear the coffee is good too. So many options even later in the lunch hour.
Vegetarian options: The vegie quiche was very good. There are many lastries that worknas well.
Parking: Try the side street. It seems to have more spaces.
