We enjoyed the unique location in the old train station and the employees were very nice. We weren’t really a fan of the wines, as they were a bit more full body than we prefer, but our preference is not red wines.
Ken Wright in Carlton, Oregon is a beautiful place for a delicious Pinot tasting. The tasting room is fabulous and the outside patio even better. Great wines, great staff ( I wish I had written down the gal’s name that hosted us) as she was knowledgeable, understood our palate and offered additional wines she thought we would like plus she was so fun. We booked a tour here with Jaime our first day in the valley. What an experience! We had to call to book as we were here the first weekend of October which is right in their harvest. I was so thankful Jamie was able to make time for us. She took us out to one of the vineyards where we sipped on a glass of Chardonnay while she spoke to us about the biodynamic of the vineyards and wine making process. She clearly has a passion for wine, and I loved learning about it.
