Our first visit to Willamette Valley on our fist day we decided to take a ride down to the coast, ended up on an amazing hike, visited the beach and stopped at a local seafood place in Manzanita and happed upon the most wonderful glass of Lemelson Pinot Noir. I immediately took a picture of the wine name to research later. We visited the vineyard the very next day, had a wonderful experience and as expected enjoyed every sip from our tasting. We've been doing Dundee wineries for nearly a decade, with memberships at half a dozen wineries between our small group. We've noticed lately that many wineries have been hit and miss lately. Lemelson was such a hit with our group we got a membership and a whole case of wine on our first visit. Staff is friendly, ambiance is warm and comfortable, bottle prices are on the higher side, but we did not have a pour we didn't all really like.
We came on a warm Friday in July and sat we felt very comfortable eating our picnic outside under umbrellas. Josie was professionally friendly, serving excellent selection of wines for our tastings. One of our party was a wine buyer and loved chatting with her. We can tell Josie loves what she does! Thank you, Lemelson for a wonderful time!
