MonksGate Vineyard

One of our absolute favorite vineyards and that is saying something! Great wine, intimate and beautiful setting and knowledgeable and approachable wine maker. It is always a must visit when we are in the area.

This winery was beautiful. We enjoyed lounging on the patio. It was interesting to hear Rebecca's story. We did not feel pressured to purchase wine but rather were able to fully enjoy ourselves.

Rebecca was a fabulous host. You can enjoy a beautiful view with first class wines at Monksgate. They offer a wide variety of varietals and do them all justice. Such a wonderful gem tucked away in Carlton!

We had a great time reacquainting ourselves with this winery. Hadn’t been in many years. So worth the wait. Signed up for the wine club. (Can’t wait to get these wines at home!)

We had a wonderful afternoon here this weekend. The serene, warm and rustic setting, paired with delicious, award-winning wine made for a great time. A lovely spot to stop and sip some of the best wine in the Willamette Valley. The food truck had some of the best brussel sprouts I've had in a while???

Monksgate Vineyard was a blast! We visited during a winery tour and were lucky enough to have the owner, Rebecca, as our guide. Rebecca was able to give us lots of info on the different wines really helped us understand our individual tastes.

Love Rebecca at MonksGate! This winery is so gorgeous (talk about having Instagram moments!) The vineyard is LIVE Certified (so chemical free and sustainable.) Their dog, Fizzy, runs around greeting guests and the wines are delicious. Highly recommend hanging out- especially on a sunny day when you can enjoy their multiple outdoor seating areas. (Yes, they have indoor and a covered area with fire pits, too.)

Rebecca and Team is the heart and soul of all our wonderful experiences here at Monskgate. FANTASTIC pinots but the Fizzy is hands down our favorite!

Thor and Jeff and I had a terrific tasting and visit with Rebecca (and Fizzy) at MonksGate yesterday. The wines we so lovely and interesting. The space is beautiful. Rebecca is so knowledgeable and engaging. It was a wonderful experience - thank you Michele and John from Triangle Wine Tours for taking us there!

Monks Gate is a favorite place for us. The wines are great, the tasting room is not pretentious, the outside space is comfortable, and many Summer weekends there is a food truck. The owner, Rebecca, is friendly, knowledgeable, and is always welcoming. Highly recommend.

This is a very very good wine here. Very good owners I care about your needs and what you want of a Vineyard whatever they can to make sure you have a great experience here. I recommend this Winery to everyone.
