This was our first vineyard stop for our trip to Willamette Valley. We booked this vineyard after finding it in our research and learning they offered more than just tastings. They have a provisions lunch that we couldn’t pass up. The lunch was excellent from start to finish.

We walked up for our prepaid reservation and were greeted with a glass of rosé and immediately connected with our host for the day, Alice. Alice was a stunning host for us. I loved hearing her tell about each dish and wine we tried.

Our view from our table was stunning even through the rainy day we booked. It was a bit chilly that day, but the fire in the hearth and the delicious food and wine to warm us.

The chef also came out to meet each table which was a nice touch.

Highly recommend this experience.

The tasting room is quite nice, but is the service after the sale that is terrible. Zero customer centricity. Zero follow through.

Having a very large cellar, I will enjoy the magnum that I bought when I was there. The service has left a sour taste in my mouth, and I would encourage going with a one and done concept without joining their club.

I took my parents here as a gift for their 36th anniversary and the experience surpassed all of my expectations! Tess (who was amazing) was our host and greeted us with wine in hand, addressed my parents by name and wished them a happy anniversary as soon as we arrived. We did have a reservation with all the info but the way the experience started set the tone for the rest of the afternoon. The view we had while my parents had their tasting and where we got to enjoy a delicious 3 course meal was stunning as you’re on top of a hill that gives you views of the landscape. I am vegan and they were able to accommodate with incredible seasonal dishes and my parents very much enjoyed their dishes as well. Not only were my parents blown away but so was I! A must especially if you’re celebrating a special occasion.

Did the Classic Tasting with a cheeseboard with Alice. She was knowledgeable about the wines and all the regions in Willamette. Definitely recommend!

Incredible wine and beautiful tasting room. We had a lovely tasting experience with Troy and learned all about the interesting stuff going on at Mineral Springs Ranch and about the great wine too. One of the best spots we’ve visited in the area!

Our time at Soter was an excellent experience. The view is simply stunning and the tasting room is relaxed but elegant. We were lucky to get Stephy as our guide. She was so informative without being intimidating and went above and beyond for us. Because of her and the delicious wines, we will be coming back the next time we are in the Willamette Valley!

Worst experience in the valley. I showed up with a group and they refused to serve two the people in our group. They said those two were over served after being there for literally 2 min. Those people in our group had done nothing to deserve bring treated like this and had no more than anyone else in the group. Take your business elsewhere.

Nicole and I had a beautiful visit to Soter and were very impressed with the hospitality from Troy and the team. A must visit for Pinot Noir lovers.

Exceptional experience - the MSR provisions tasting was totally worth the price. Our guide, Chris, was very knowledgeable of the vineyard, Tony’s history, etc. and the region, having worked at some other wine programs.

Chef foraged many ingredients for the meal pairings and the rest was local purveyors. Beautiful burst of spring flavors and amazingly prepared, simple ingredients but delightful conception of each plate. To die for!

The wine pairings were excellent and really captured the terroir of their vineyards and style of their preparation. Delightful rosé and brut X, zippy cool climate Chardonnay (no Cali oak/butter yuck), two Pinots one blend and one estate series, and a bonus brut rosé to finish with dessert. Can’t go wrong coming here!

A well-known local winery with very quiet scenery and delicious wine.

We booked a reservation for 2 online and paid a $20 deposit prior to our visit. When we arrived we were told that the tasting cost $35 per person. One tasting fee was supposedly waived if you buy 2 bottles of wine. The experience was fine but we didn’t buy any wines to take home because we found out that only $35 would be refunded because there was a nonrefundable $10 deposit fee so the $20 fee we paid prior were not credited towards our tasting and/or purchase. The hostess said the fee is due to people cancelling but I suggest they rethink this policy - they already have a 48-hour cancellation fee so they’re just trying to squeeze money out of you. We showed up to the tasting so why not refund the entire $20 fee or apply it towards our final bill?
