Diamond Lake Junction Cafe Reviews
10/10!!!
The burger was delicious! The tomato and onions were farmers market quality. Even the bun was good!!
We stopped in to have a bite to eat one late afternoon. As we walked up to the door a gentleman locked the door. After knocking someone opened the door and said they were closed for 20 min because they only had one clean plate, then slammed the door in our face. We will never come back and let others know to avoid this place. Rude!
The man that works there is rude for no apparent reason. The restaurant is filthy. It’s worth the drive to head further north.

Diamond Lake Junction Cafe, located at a crossroads, is known for its great Bacon Cheeseburger made with quality ingredients like Big Ed's bun and fantastic bacon. The friendly owner goes above and beyond, staying open late to accommodate guests, and he is recognized for his cheerful service and willingness to help customers. The cafe provides easy parking, a clean environment, and ample indoor seating with large windows for watching road traffic. The food is fresh and quick, and customers appreciate the large burgers and tasty meals. One popular item is the Little Bigfoot sandwich, praised as one of the best sandwiches in Oregon. Though there are limited options for vegetarians, the cafe still draws visitors with its delicious offerings, including onion rings that are well-liked for their crunchiness.
While the one-man operation does a great job of serving hungry visitors, it can sometimes lead to service challenges, such as restroom availability and packaging issues for to-go orders. Despite these hiccups, the cafe remains a good spot to support local businesses while enjoying good food and pleasant conversation. It’s a worthwhile stop for those visiting Crater Lake or passing through the area, and many customers look forward to returning to try more of the menu, including milkshakes and pies.
