One of the most honest places I know.
We were traveling through, stayed at the Best Western 2 blocks away and asked for a place with a patio that would accommodate our dog and had the best meal, service and atmosphere. Cassandra was our server and was delightful, attentive and gave great guidance on the menu. The food was scrumptious. We ordered the stroganoff (highly recommend), fried oysters and ultimate salad. All was delicious. The atmosphere was delightful on the patio and the music was a joy to listen to. Thank you Cassandra and the Blue Heron for the exceptional experience!
Amazing food and the decor was so cool to sit and see things we had never seen from Germany
Cassandra has been the main waitress at Blue Heron for quite some time. She has worked at many restaurants around town, but this place suits her! As busy as it can get, she never misses a beat. Our food is always fresh, drinks are on point (I highly recommend trying their Moscow Mule!) and the restaurant is clean and family friendly. Fun fact: if you pay with cash, you get a free dessert! Best homemade cake in town by far. 5☆ !!!!
I didn't like what I ordered but I LOVED whatever one else had. I can't wait to go back and try other dishes. The cake slices are heavenly and the wait staff was so sweet, I just chose poorly for my liking.
Clumpy bland Fondue with Apples, Broccoli and Mushrooms. Gross. Spanish Coffee with 0 coffee taste. Gross. Maybe use a Dark Roast or Espresso. Surf and Turf with canned Spinach, no seasoning on potatoes, steak overcooked. Our server was nice but too bad the food was not good at all!
First time there, I had Weiner schnitzel. An incredibly tasty dish, the gravy was amazing, and the potatoes were absolutely delicious!
Happy Hour and Desserts
They have the best brunch on a Sunday morning! Plus, if you pay cash, you get pie.
We got bread with mold on it. My friends dish was old it seemed like it was scraped from the bottom of the pot. Not a good experience. Very pricey

Adam made the best carrot cake any of us have ever tasted. It was absolutely delicious!!
amazing food and love the family who owns it! they do such an awesome job decorating and the desserts are out of this world!
Absolutely fantastic. The decor is whimsical and the food was exceptional. I got the goulash and the rest of the table got the stroganoff, and we were all raving. The spatzel is so so so good. Highly recommend!
And they're open on Mondays!
