Wow! The best breakfast I’ve ever had! Usually me and my wife go out to talk and catch up from the week. However when our food hit our table not one more word was said. Now that I finished my nap from being stuffed we are talking about when we are going back. Didn’t get any pictures of the food as we just dug right in. Chicken fried steak with gravy was perfect and didn’t feel heavy. But the breakfast potato’s knocked it out of the park! Definitely our new favorite spot and a hidden gem in this town.

We visited D Street Cafe on Saturday for breakfast and it did not disappoint. The staff was incredibly sweet and welcoming. While the food took a little time, it was well worth the wait…everything tasted fresh and made to order. We ordered the 911, traditional eggs Benedict, and French toast with bacon. The chicken-fried steak was cooked to perfection, and the French toast was some of the best I’ve ever had. That whipped butter alone was worth the visit—I could’ve taken a pound home. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I visit Coos bay frequently to visit our son.
Today was our second visit to D Street Cafe. The atmosphere is very nice, and you will be greeted by welcoming people!
The food is very good with generous servings.
The biscuits and gravy are probably the best I have ever had!
This is a wonderful place to visit on our way back to Humboldt.

I have been to A LOT of breakfast places and diners in my travels across probably 7 or 8 different states. This place sits at the top of the list for breakfast.

I’m not even a coffee fan really, but I tried it and it was outstanding and smooth. Then the food, wow. I got a biscuits and gravy, my wife got the country fried steak. OUTSTANDING. Flavorful, moist, bacon cooked perfect, eggs cooked perfectly.

I saw other tables getting huge omelettes, Eggs Benedict, and Chilaquiles and those looked equally good! I feel like no matter what I ordered I would have been blown away!

The price is incredible for such big portions and quality. The only minor drawback was the service moves a bit slow, but that’s to be expected with a small staff that is up there in age. Honestly, I’d wait an hour to eat here.

There is a reason this place is 5 star on Google with 90 reviews. It earns it.

If you’re looking for the best spot in town, this is it.
D Street Cafe has become our absolute favorite place to eat—honestly, it’s the only restaurant we even want to go to for breakfast anymore!
The food is consistently amazing, the portions are large, and the prices are more than fair for the quality you get.
What really blows us away is the service. The owners are some of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet; they actually remembered our three girls after we had only been in once! That kind of personal touch is so rare and makes us feel right at home every time.
The atmosphere is super cool and laid back, making it the perfect local gem.
If you haven't stopped by yet, you're missing out. 10/10 recommend!

Great food! The sausage gravy was creamy and the biscuits were fluffy. The hollandaise sauce was the best I’ve ever had. This cafe is a must visit if you are in Coos Bay, OR.

Cute little place with great food. Appreciated how clean the place was too. Don’t come here if you’re in a hurry, service was a bit slow but very friendly. The food was worth the wait.
