Employees are always pleasant but lack attention to detail. They forget an item literally every single time we go through the drive-through, so always check your bags before driving off. The quality of the food could be a lot better as well, but again, lack of attention, I suppose.The ice cream is always good, so that's a thing they've got going for them! ??

Left shore acres and wanted to grab a blizzard. Got there at 7:15 and the Sign said open. Got up to the door and it was locked with people inside. No sign on door except saying they were open until 8:00 pm. Called them and were informed that they were expecting a rush and were understaffed so they locked the door. We informed them that they should have put a sign on the door. I own a business in town and the few times that we are understaffed, we always post a sign on the doors that we have to close early. It's common courtesy.

I alwqys go to Charleston Dairy Queen for my chicken strips, they make them fresh every time.
Dirty little place, issue #1. Biggest problem: I called ahead of time and even confirmed at the counter that they would honor our coupons for our family. They said yes several times. So I unloaded the dog and tied him up outside (we are on a road trip so it's quite the struggle to get in and out for all of us with as tight as we're packed which is why I confirmed several times that we were good with our coupons) and got all six of us seated and then ordered, but they decided at the last second not to take the coupons that she just said moments before that she would take. She looked at me like I was the problem not wanting to pay $20 more than expected. I'm a mom, we planned for this visit carefully and went out of our way off the road to do it. So no, I'm not paying, $20 more because you lied. Looks like a failing location anyway. I don't expect to see it around much longer.

Dairy Queen out here in Charleston kind of by itself. But it was a welcome site. Staff was friendly and efficient and whipped up my strawberry milkshake lickety-split. The shake it so many strawberries in and I could hardly use a straw. Not complaining though topped off with rich creamy whipped cream. It was perfect for my diet. The dining room is fairly small and compact but they have a convenient drive-through.
