A floating seafood market with incredibly fresh fish that is perfectly cooked, the friendliest staff you could hope to meet, and excellent, and I mean EXCELLENT clam chowder. One more thing- I don’t like coleslaw, never have; I DEVOURED the coleslaw side that came with my basket. It was absolutely stellar! If you are driving down the coast it would be a huge mistake to miss this spot. I’m not kidding. You should plan your drive around eating here.
Owner was very welcoming and showed us the fresh fish along with the other seafood they use. I got the combo and it was all cooked perfectly and tasted great! The chowder had great flavor and right amount of potatoes, clams and bacon. It’s a good thing we aren’t from here cause this place would be a regular for us… you are actually eating right over the water so that’s a bonus!
Traveling thru Coos Bay and took a chance on this restaurant. We were greeted like old friends and immediately told the history and the quality they demand of themselves. The food was amazing, the staff super nice, and the atmosphere was great. Wished we didn’t live so far away.
