First time yesterday,.got takeout. Hands down BEST burger AND fries I've had anywhere in a long time. The burger had so much flavor, and the fries were that delicious homemade style, not the usual frozen restaurant fries. The ranch was great too, which is a thing for me lol. -ALSO, stellar above and beyond customer service. Loved it!!

No clams in the clam chowder, should be called potato chowder. Server offered to bring another cup with clams in it. What?Out of cod so deep fried tuna instead , $16 for one peace of fried tuna with some fries and slaw , over priced tourist trap. Server was friendly. Don’t waste your money.

Have been eating at this restaurant for a number of years. It changed hands recently. New owners did some needed upgrades including the outdoor dining area. Deck has a new transparent roof and large windows overlooking the lawn & tranquil south slough. Portable heaters when needed. All very nice. Previous owners had wonderful dinner specials I always looked forward to ordering. Especially the local ling cod and salmon. New owners use the same menu for lunch and dinner not offering a true evening dining experience. I had the fish tacos for dinner but they were light on fish. Others at my table had the fish and chips. A nice amount for lunch but a little sparse for dinner. I love all the physical improvements but would like to see the menu revamped backed to more what it was with the previous owners.

Disappointed. Visited High Tide under new ownership for lunch. I ordered fish & chips, husband oysters. My order arrived with one large piece of fish. Batter did not stick to fish, fell off when dunked in the thin tartar sauce. No salt and pepper on the table. Husband said the same about his oysters. Fries soggy, not crispy. Coleslaw okay. Did like the cranberries in the slaw. Great service.

I will start by saying that the portions have gotten smaller. That said, I don't think that is a bad thing. We both had plenty to eat; enough so that we didn't have room for desert. The quality and preparation of the food is excellent. On par with the best fish we've had at the coast. The atmosphere is casual and the staff are pleasant and efficient. This is a nice little hole in the wall place that's easy to miss if you're not looking for it. Parking is a bit of a challenge. We love going there and recommend it to family and friends. It's not fancy but it has proven reliable.Definitely recommend it to anyone wanting good food and a pleasant atmosphere!

This is my go-to place for the best clam chowder on the Oregon Coast. Way better than Mo’s! The servers there are pleasant and fast. The covered out side patio is perfect!

Not many dining options in Charleston, and this is probably one of the better places, I think. It is however a typical coastal seafood restaurant. It seems a bit run down and the kitchen area looked a bit questionable. We kept to options that we felt would be safe. Two of us shared the fish and chips and a bowl of clam chowder. The chowder was okay, nothing special and the fish was very good and seemed very fresh (as it should be on the coast) but there was only one piece of it. Granted it was a good size piece of fish but still, only one piece of fish? We didn't exactly leave full. Service was pretty good and prices were okay. It was nice to sit outside on the patio. Overall it was fine.

I was amazed by the food and staff at this quirky Cafe/restaurant. The clam chowder was the best I've ever had. The staff went above and beyond and the chef was amazing.

The service was AMAZING! the food was good. But it was the service we received that has sold us on the place! We will be going back! Good service is hard to find lately. But these guys are doing a fabulous job!

What a great cozy little spot to come and have delicious seafood. A friend of ours from Rochester, NY insisted we stop by here to eat. I'm glad we took his advice.New owners took over this place in late 2020, and from everything we hear it has been nothing but positive changes. Thankfully the famous Superbowl Chowder is still on the menu and tastes better than ever. When you enter the resturant you are given a choice of indoor or outdoor dining. This cozy setting decorated with sea shore motif sets the stage for a great dining experience.Friendly service. They were a bit understaffed (common challenge everywhere these days), but they worked very hard to get everyone seated and served as quickly as possible. Anina, our server, was the best, and she has a knack for making you feel very special. The parking lot in front is small, but there is designated parking across the street which I didn't see until we were leaving.I don't know when we will be back in these parts, but you can bet I will make it a point to stop here again if I'm passing through.

Best burger in the Bay Area for sure. Love this place. Servers are all friendly and skilled even when it’s packed in there. Beautiful patio area - such a gem!

The food is good.Especially clam chowder. But the service make me feel a little confuse. The bill we signed was $120, and I left $15 in cash on the table as a tip. But when I checked my bank statement later, I found that I had been charged $135. It made me feel very terrible.

Delicious clam chowder, steamer clams, and wonderful atmosphere. Would absolutely eat again.
