I stopped in for lunch while I was in town. (I make it a point to stop by local businesses for meals on my visits.) Luigi's is definitely one of the places I'll keep going back to. I have tried a couple sandwiches off their menu and have not been disappointed once. Both the gut grinder and the Reuben were amazing, along with their Italian soda! Good sandwich just a bit slow. I have a 30 min lunch and is just not enough time for them to make my food. Only a few people there when I showed up so I didn't expect it to be 25min for a sandwich. Nice people I'll give them a 4 out of 5 if they were efficient enough to be a quick lunch spot I would go more.
These are pictures of my leftovers. I didn't think to take one of the whole sandwich. I had the six inch gut grinder. It was on a hoagie roll. The bun was different than in pictures I've seen. The roll was toasted on both sides so kind of crunchy. There wasn't much meat and it was seared so it was crispy. The onions and peppers were chopped and fell off when I picked it up.
