I walked in and it felt very cold temperature wise so I thought I would order my food to go and then eat in the comfort of my warm car. They brought my food out to my car and I drove off to find a nice place to park. I found nothing to eat with and no napkins. Were they upset that I didn't want to stay inside? Maybe because I didn't tip? ( I usually do and I guilt tripping) the beans were delish. I ordered a champagne and realized it was on a corn tortilla and by the time I got home it was so soggy. I was super hungry so I ate it but have never had a corn tortilla chalupa. More like a tostada.

How to begin, we had lunch both ordered seafood chimichanga, food was warm at best, seafood was old smelled like food you shouldn't eat. Service was ok, the seating area needs updating, not a place I'd recommend.

By far the most authentic and delicious Mexican food in Coos Bay! Their taquitos can't be topped and I've been to 4 other places. TRUST me. I don't know what they do to get their chicken so tasty and juicy but mmm mmm mmmmm! The chicken enchiladas are incredible as well. I went to Tepic Nayarit Mexico a while back and had the BEST shredded chicken enchiladas and thought I would only get something like that if I ever went back....until this place. Flashed me right back to that little town in Mexico! Crunchy Tacos? Yes. Tamales? Yes. Bean and cheese burritos with salsa verde? Yes. Yes. And more yes! No, I don't work here lol and yes I have been here and ordered from DoorDash many times! Oh, the fresh and warm corn chips with homemade salsa are a great treat while you wait for you order! This place is a hidden gem and the staff is always super friendly and attentive. When you enter to sit at one of their table/booths you definitely feel like you're in an authentic Mexican joint!

I live here in Coos bay, I have tried every chicken taco in every Mexican restaurant in town and playa del sol was the best shell was freshly fried, tasty and not dry chicken, and house salsa complimented it beautifully great job ?
