This was a great place, with the best BBQ pork tacos, but the restaurant closed mid-August. If you're looking for hearty fare in Coos Bay, The Coach House is definitely a great place to check out.
To me, it's just alright. Nothing grand, nothing completely horrible either, other than their "French Onion soup". If you cherish a good French Onion soup like I do, then their version of the soup is not for you! They were nice about it and took it off the check !
Omg this place was so fun! They have peanut shells everywhere and it's super family friendly. My 2 year old daughter got into a peanut fight with the other guests there. Hands down the best steak I have ever had from a restaurant. Cooked perfectly, the flavor was like none other, and it just melts in your mouth. We were in town visiting family and my boyfriend was a little unsure of the quality the food would be based on appearance, but he was very delighted once he was served....
