Clean as a whistle, this restaurant has a perfect hometown american burger joint vibe to it that is super relaxing. Lots of tables. The whole building smells heavenly of fried onions, beef, and cheese.The smells were nothing compared to the taste of the burger though. The South of the Border burger was so hearty with all the flavors of jalapenos, cheese, and bacon. I couldn't improve on it. I was more than satisfied after having one. Chocolate shakes are amazingly chocolatey and thick enough to be difficult to suck through a straw.Service was A+, friendly and inviting as well as making sure we had everything we needed for the order. Our whole order minus tip for 2 people came to a bit over $30. We don't eat out often, but this beautiful place is an instant favorite!

This place has a great atmosphere and amazing burgers. I had the Jamison burger, it's one of those old fashioned giant burgers that you'd get at a local takeout. Really delicious with a side of fries. The fries were crispy and fresh, they had a perfect crunch to them. Very good chocolate shakes with whipped cream on top. Overall a lovely experience, we wouldn't think twice about going there again.

Tonight was the second time in a row that they have messed up our order. I get that mistakes happen and that's why I gave them another chance, but twice in a row means someone doesn't know how to do their job. We live in Springfield, but my husband is a traveling contractor who sometimes stays in Coos Bay for weeks at a time. Every time I go down to visit him on long weekends, I make him take me to Shake N Burger for a fat bacon cheeseburger, battered fries, and a strawberry shake. It's one of the best cheeseburgers I've found at a restaurant (the best being grilled burgers at home), and I'm always recommending the place when I hear folks mentioning they're going to the area.
