Sumin's has been Coos Bays original and best sushi for decades. After moving back to the area, I got lunch and I can attest the food and service is better than ever. I loved sumins before, but hands down they have gotten even better. With the recent addition of Korean BBQ its surely a local gem!
Very small place, felt crowded. My only complaint is the rice wasn't done right all the rolls kept falling apart because the rice wasn't sticky enough but the flavor of the fish was fresh and the waiter was nice. Overall I'd definitely recommend!
We just moved to Coos Bay a couple months ago. My wife and I love to try new restaurants and Sumin's did not disappoint! The portions were plentiful, the food was fresh and the recipes are great! This restaurant appears on the higher end in price until you see and taste the food. Our family came from our of town and everyone that ate here loved their food and the server was very friendly and attentive. I will definitely be eating here again.
