Good enough to have the same fish twice! We had the coconut shrimp and the scallop basket. Heard the fish and chips were good too. Staff was great both visits. Patio seating available to take your fur babies and they are doing a holiday gimmick where "Santa clause calls" and someone is getting a free meal! Wish I had pics for you guys

Fries and fish were cold, soggy, and had no seasoning. Clam chowder didn’t have clams, wasn’t flavorful at all. It was all overpriced. Wait staff were a little rude. All around, would not recommend!

I FOUND IT. AFTER TEN YEARS, I FOUND MY LONG LOST UNGER'S BAY!
I religiously visited Unger's Bay when I briefly lived down in Coos for a while. When they "closed," I had a crisis. Turns out, they just changed their name and moved. 10/10 fish and chowder, and I even recognized the same waitress, who is genuinely the backbone of this restaurant. Looking forward to many more years!

This small diner was recommend by one of locals for great beef finger steaks and I was not disappointed. Service was great and friendly. Struck up a conversation with some of the local residents in the diner and all were basically friendly. Nestled along the shore line and docks, it was a great atmosphere. Ramp available for handicap access.

Passing through Coos Bay and wanted some fish. The Boat was great. Had the 1/2 & 1/2 combo. Fish was flaky. Light batter. Great sauces. Darla was friendly, energetic and welcoming!! Wished we lived here to eat here more often!!

I wish I could give this place much higher stars. We just happened to be driving thru Coos Bay for the first time, and what an absolutely divine find!!!! The place is SO cute and as soon as we walked up, everyone was so incredibly nice and helpful. The service was so fast, but it is going into winter season. We will definitely be taking the 55 min trip down A LOT to come here. We had the halibut and chips. It's was absolutely perfect. Delicious and seasoned so well. So much fish!!! We got it to go and ended up eating it in the parking lot in front because it smelled and looked amazing.

Everything was great until we got the bill. My food was supposed to come out to $21 and my friends food was supposed to come out to $22. We ordered a side of coal slaw and 2 drinks. Their menu said (in very small print) "prices are subject to change because of increasing food prices". We got out bill and it was $80. We feel like we were taken advantage of by not knowing the price up front because their menu prices aren't what the actual prices they are charging.
