I couldn't ever give this place 5 stars or even 4 but the place has something going for it. Not sure if its the carpeted floor or the Elvis memorabilia everywhere. Either way the staff is generally pretty good the food is old school diner quality and I never want it to change. I would avoid the biscuits as you get what you pay for but the greasy eggs, hash browns and other breakfast items are just what you would expect.

Mary's is a Cornelius landmark. Mary has been running this place for over 40 years. If you are a young person accustomed to the newer places with their typical decor and amenities you are in for a new experience. Mary's is no frills. Mary is the sweetest lady. She is a fixture of this community and has been open for 33 years. My family and I used to come here every weekend. Please support your local businesses. When I come here I know I'm supporting someone in my community and not a corporation. Prior to covid-19 after you got your first cup of coffee you were allowed to refill your own coffee when people say homey and old-fashioned this is what they are referring to.
