First time at the campus location. Been to the joint downtown several times. Plenty of handles to choose from with cider and beer options. They have affordable daily specials. My pizza slice was good and I am a fan of their crust. The margarita, however, was all mixer and no liquor and very much undrinkable. The duck blood cocktail was a good drink and a much better pour than the margarita.
My family have been regular customers of American Dream Pizza for 30 years, primarily at the Campus location. We love the pizza. We love the atmosphere. If I have a complaint it is only that the chocolate chip cookies have routinely been under-done for the last few years. When we take-out, 3-1/2 minutes in the oven at 425° cooks that doughy center nicely.
Pizza is a very subjective food item. However, the lunch special at American Dream is hard to beat! Only $8.95 for a slice and a salad. Solid deal that leaves me satisfied. My only gripe is the line crosses the counter where food comes out and retrieves your order can be hectic at times.
