Applebee's Grill + Bar

My last visit was hands down the worst.

Otherwise they are the best casual dinning in town!

Our last visit, my partner ordered more of the endless chix strips. I drank my coattail before his arrived, & we still waited on the additional chix strips.

We went in for the $15.99 special all you can eat riblets chicken strips or shrimp. The riblets were complete all bones and tough to eat. The shrimp and the chicken strips were disgusting. You could tell that they were old they were not fried they didn’t come not come out golden at all. They tasted stale. The chicken strips had a funky taste of them either they were old or they were Stale. The french fries were cold and you could tell the grease needs to be changed. I used to be a chef so I do understand some of these things and the way they look and the way they taste was terrible. Three of us were there with drinks, but the tip came to almost $70. The waitress Terrible. We asked for extra napkins, Tabasco sauce and more iced tea at least three times each. Finally, my husband went and found where the napkins were and the Tabasco sauce. When another waiter came by, we asked him for some iced tea and he didn’t get us any either so that was one of the most terrible experiences I’ve ever had or we’ve ever had an Applebee’s.

The service was pretty decent but there was an unpleasant odor in the restaurant and much of our 4 different meals were lukewarm at best. My pasta looked like it had been sitting out for a while...

I usually order take out online, they have good deals and prices, and your food comes out quickly and fresh! Open later than other restaurants in the area, so it's a great choice if you're craving a late night, prepared quick meal that's not fast food.

Went in and were immediately told there would be a ten minute wait to be seated despite there being dozens of open tables because the cooks were behind. Politely asked if we could seat ourselves while we waited and were very rudely told NO. Seemed more like an overweight manager guy and not the normal wait staff. His rude demeanor and inflexible nature required us to seek service elsewhere. We likely won't be back again, too bad as we like to eat out in corvallis quite often and take large groups as well. Management might want to consider educating their staff a bit more.

This is the 3rd time my husband has ordered the chicken Alfredo where there is absolutely hardly ANY Alfredo sauce. Noodles are dry. We ate in the restaurant tonite rather than curbside but at this point we will be making other choices.

applebee's is a good consistent choice as always. they have these new shark alcoholic drinks that i forgot the name of but look cool. food is good and staff are always nice. i wish they had another vegetarian patty besides the impossible one - like a black bean or something else that doesn't try to mimic meat. its nice that you sub the impossible patty on any of their burgers, though. except idk why it costs $3 extra..
