Looks like I posted a review about 6 years ago for Benny's. Initially I loved this stop when I first discovered it, and 6 years later Benny's is a favorite stop on my way to or from the coast through Corvallis. Of course, if you disdain cake donuts, this is probably not the treat spot for you. The donuts are fresh, warm, dipped and topped per order right in front of you. I have a friend in Texas who, from a previous trip out to visit me, specifically requested Benny's when we were meeting for a girl's weekend in Hood River. They are even delicious the following day reheated in the oven or toaster oven. You just can't go wrong with this gem.

I had two doughnuts. One with just chocolate glaze, and one with cinnamon sugar and sugar glaze. The doughnuts were warm pillows of cake with just the right amount of topping.

Cute little place and the Gluten free donuts are amazing. The consistency is of a cake donut. I had chocolate & a iced mocha. Yes they serve coffee too. I have added pictures.

The donuts are great. The customer service is terrible. They refused to fill my coffee mug and wouldn’t even give me a minute to look at the menu. Very disappointing and they don’t give two craps about the environment either.

I was very disappointed when I visited the location in Happy Valley. However, this experience was the opposite. The Canadian Maple glaze was flavorful and the doughnut was warm.
Warning: The employee told me the German Chocolate glaze was not vegan.
